well, there are two things
one - if you've been a dick, expect to be called on it
two - if it's upsetting then switch off and go do RL
three - if you've not been a dick then call the poster on it then and there, don't bleat elsewhere, or report if you consider a personal attack

Oh iv been there and worn the t-shirt. Askamum was the bitchiest forum i have ever been on. I was called alsorts there because i did Controlled Crying - apparently i was a neglectful mum because i didnt allow my son to sleep in our bed with us 
Then i was called all the names under the sun because i only breastfed for 6 weeks.
Then when i fell pregnant with my 2nd son, i had cramping and needed an early pregnancy scan at my local hospital, i was told that i had lost baby and that i had to go back for a D&C - a week later i felt flutterings so went to my chosen hospital for labour and they found a heartbeat - when i told people on the forum about it - they called me Kerry Katona (it was the time as the news broke about Kerry - it wasnt until i asked why people were calling me it that i found about what had happened to her) Then i was branded a liar and that they wont believe any bump pics, scan pics etc etc until i had had the baby and someone from the forum would see me in RL to relay back to them that i had infact had a baby. pathetic bunch of bitches.
