i have received namecalling etc

Does it upset you to be called a liar, dick etc on an internet forum, when you know you are inncent of the accusations?

How do you not let it get to you?

Shock There's too many shocking things in the last few posts so Shock will just have to suffice.

(BOF I also did the ripping of the banjo string blood festival of blood. I thought I had something horrible wrong with me until I looked over and saw it pumping out of his nob. (blood, blood was pumping out)

Ah...Good Times.

breathing · 14/04/2011 16:59

Name calling i can cope with. What I think is bloody awful is a full dissection and assasination of character by strangers who have never met you and have done some pop psychology to convince themselves that you are a certain way in order to justify being ..well, horrible really. Seen it a few times.

1.who are you,what thread
2.words on a screen some strangers rattle tattling is never going to permeate to rl and if it does its time to have a wee rest
3.resurrection of what ever thread got your goat is unlikely to make folk flock and say ohhh diddums you are so right ,we by comparison are soooo wrong

TandB · 14/04/2011 17:00

Hmm

That one goes out to FlamingJamie.

And don't say I never give you anything....

ShirleyKnot · 14/04/2011 17:03

Well, you might say that breathing, but clearly you are suffering from some sort of psycological disorder and are possibly dangerous

I feel sorry for your children.

(That sort of thing? That is the BEST of all insults on MN - "I feel sorry for your children"...I am waiting for that one because I will say "I feel sorry for my children as well")

Animation · 14/04/2011 17:03

Kungfupannda - you kept your cool and clear headed today despite the unbearable pressures. Good job!

scottishmummy · 14/04/2011 17:03

used aldi day cream and was surprisingly ok
still dont know who you are or what thread..and you know what it doesnt matter
no mn grudges or gripes.life too short to ohh and ahh over some heated post

FlamingJamie · 14/04/2011 17:04

I thank you Grin

Someone like you lot should not be aloud to have children, FCOL

beingsetup · 14/04/2011 17:04

I'm great and I do not care what anyone else thinks of me Grin And the best part is, I really genuinely do not care. What I say to my kids is, do you think that behaviour is good? Have they done something wrong or have you? And I also try not to say bad about anyone at all ever so I can keep the moral highground Grin

TandB · 14/04/2011 17:04

Your children feel sorry for you too, Shirley.

Nobody better feel sorry for my child right now. He hit me with a vacuum cleaner yesterday, said "uh oh" and then tried to kiss it better, only to get distracted by the sight of my wobbly stomach which he flobbled and then fell about laughing.

Forget borrowing DP, would you like DS? I will throw in his toys.

FlamingJamie · 14/04/2011 17:05

If you haven't got anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. That's what I say to my children. The fuckers

TandB · 14/04/2011 17:05

Animation - I'm coming over all unecessary!
[fans self]

TandB · 14/04/2011 17:06

FlamingJamie - do you say it in the slow annoying way like the skunk from Bambi?

Grin
FlamingJamie · 14/04/2011 17:07

No, kungfu, but I shall try that. A sort of a smelly drawl is it?

MaisyMooCow · 14/04/2011 17:08

OP, I followed your comments on the Burka thread and saw that you had reported certain people for personally messaging you with vile comments. This is out of order. You have every right to your opinion on these threads. Ok, so not everyone agrees with you but that's the purpose of debate. To go and pm someone over something written which they don't agree with is totally out of order if you ask me.

TandB · 14/04/2011 17:08

Right. Wasted enough time on MN when allegedly working from home. Done nothing for most of the afternoon. Large pile of laundry, larger pile of mending. Massive amount of gardening. All virtuously put to one side on the basis of "working from home".

Will salvage day by going and getting DS from nursery and lying to staff about how much I got done. And then going to in-laws for tea and lying about how tired I am. That will be fun!

scottishmummy · 14/04/2011 17:08

cold day in hell when i ever worry what someone on internet thinks of me
