AIBU?
Men,Erections and swimming lessons
RitaBix · 07/04/2011 10:52
I have been going to swimming lessons with ds for 8 weeks. We have one man in the group who stands at the end of the line and I stand next to him (being quite tall I like to stand in the deeper water) We say hello and do small talk
Three weeks ago I notice on getting out he has an erection I get a bit flustered and give him a smile and I am sure he saw me looking at it
Yesterday he had an erection as well
AIBU to be a little spooked out by this?
DH says sometimes they have a mind of their own and being in a pool with 7 women might just bring it to life

"DH says sometimes they have a mind of their own and being in a pool with 7 women might just bring it to life"
or perhaps it's the children causing it.
either way, it's not nice at all.
I have been a regular swimming my whole life and I have NEVER seen a man with an erection in or at the pool

It is not obvious at all that a sexual thrill is being derived
It's common to get them on buses and trains because of the movement. Or indeed when doing no thinking about sex and reading a very boring politics book.
It is perfectly common to get them in pools and saunas as the blood is being heated.
Common, normal, and Fuck all to do with sex.

I swim regularly and I've never seen this either, including in swimming clubs with plenty of men in them, so it must be something that it is possible to avoid. As a grown adult, you would expect him to be aware of this and perhaps stay in the water until no-one is looking or wear looser fitting swimwear. I wonder why he favours swimming lessons in an otherwise all female group?

Bit odd, but I'd be giving him the benefit of the doubt as long as he does actually have a child with him and isn't just some random man standing in the circle joining in.
Taking my two swimming yesterday my 16 month old was climbing up my costume as I held him in the water, so I spent quite a long time with both tits actually exposed, albeit mostly under the water...
Halternecks are rubbish.
