Come hither all those who haven't found their place on mumsnet, have scrapped in Aibu or crossed words in chat. The buddy bench shalt not judge.

The buddy bench will hand out wine and cakes, it will join you on your scoffathons getting pissed

All those who sit on the bench, will have their sins erased and be given a warm welcome and cheerful chat from CheerfulYank, gomummy, tired mum, Elmo, AF, HE, Cheesey and far, far too many more to mention.

Welcome to the buddy bench, we look forward to meeting you all Smile

Oh and don't forget, last one to leave polishes bench and locks up!

Ds is good thanks valium Smile he hasn't really
wanted to go out to play lately though.
We have a meeting tonight to attend in his new school
so i am hoping to catch hold of the head there if possible
to explain i want ds seperated from x when they start next september

libra hope everything is ok? if you ever need a listening ear
just pm me anytime x

Gomummy & cheerful. I am sooo Envy of my sister right now as she is on a plane heading for New York as i type this, although i don't envy her the 8 hour flight mind Grin

Tiredmum i hope you are resting x

valiumredhead · 10/03/2011 17:24

I hope the meeting goes well elmo :)

valiumredhead · 10/03/2011 17:26

I would actually be tempted to put it in writing to the head and send it to the future school well in advance of him starting elmo. Then there can be no skirting round the issue and they will have to respond as it's in writing. I wouldn't trust a brief conversation with the new Head x

elmofan · 10/03/2011 17:42

Thats a great idea valium thanks ill do that. I could pop the letter
into the envelope in with the forms we have to send back by
next week. .
Smile

valiumredhead · 10/03/2011 17:45

I put everything like that in writing then they are duty bound to respond and you also have a record of it.

gomummygo · 10/03/2011 17:59

Good luck at the meeting Elmo, agree with Valium on putting in writing to head. Hope it is the start of something positive for DS.

I love NY, great restaurants, shopping and hotels. Hope your sister has a wonderful time! If you can just get her to stow you away in a suitcase, you can drive here for a visit! Grin

elmofan · 10/03/2011 18:13

She goes every year Envy and every year she begs me go with her
Grin
Her flight is due to land 2pm New York time.

gomummygo · 10/03/2011 18:22

She'll be landing in about 40mins then Elmo (I am same time as NY). Used to go down several times a year but hate crossing the border now.

Would do it for a Bench meetup though! Grin

LibraPoppyGirl · 10/03/2011 20:08

Thank you for your advice earlier, gomummygo. Smile

I did read it and then thought, I'd delete just in case. Thank you for following suit. It didn't even occur to me to ask. So thank you.

I'll be lurking around for a bit, not up to talking much, I'll post a bit later, but for now, it's just good to be on here Smile xxx

I'll come in this thread for a bit.

I was in the nursery bit and likened a child's behaviour to the situation in the middle east. Several people took me seriously.

[Head-banging smiley]

LibraPoppyGirl · 10/03/2011 20:52

Oh dear you've gawn and done it now! Wink

Did you get into a lot of trouble Grin

TiggyD · 10/03/2011 20:54

I got a few Hmm

LibraPoppyGirl · 10/03/2011 21:55

Hi Tiggy if you're still here...I went for a bath and being 27+3 pregnant, it's no easy task any more Wink

elmofan · 10/03/2011 23:29

Hi im back Smile

Well the meeting went very well but lasted for two long hours
But i am hopeful that this will be the fresh start that ds needs.
He has to sit a 3 hour long exam on saturday morning
So we are a bit nervous about that.

Well done libra on getting in & out of that bath with bump Grin

Welcome tiggy Smile

candleshoe · 10/03/2011 23:51

Hi Tiggy

Glad things look hopeful Elmofan

elmofan · 11/03/2011 00:08

Thanks candle Smile

gomummygo · 11/03/2011 01:47

No problem re: earlier Libra, was probably wise of you. Good job on the bath/hair washing, I remember what an effort that became in the later stages of pregnancy!

Sounds like a positive start Elmo, though a three hour exam sonds a bit strenuous!

Welcome Tiggy! :)

Evening Candle, are you still up?

Teaandcakeplease · 11/03/2011 08:14

Yay Tiredmum so glad you're home with the wee man and your big boys Grin

Hi everyone [waves back to TACP]

Good news, I have a place in a women's refuge Yay!!

Libra is Smile xx

elmofan · 11/03/2011 17:24

Oh well done Libra Smile thats great news ,

gomummygo · 11/03/2011 18:07

Good news Libra. Hope things are going ok.

It is a bit early here but I will have a half with you as it has been a stressful week. Don't be Blush about feeling PFB about the exam! Is DS feeling nervous about it? Will be sending him good thoughts. Hope it goes very well.

Grin Tiredmum! When do you have to have a definite decision to register his name? Hope you are getting some pain relief.
