Amazon are doing a 'Black Friday' (started today, finishes Fr - hence name) where each hour they flog summat off dirt cheap. I pressed BUY at 09:00:01 for Take That's new CD at £1 (for SiL) and have been "waiting in the queue" ever since...

I'm 37+3 and have been sleeping about 3 hours a night. AIBU to just go back to bed and sod the savings?! Grin

Umami · 25/11/2010 17:05

Can't believe I missed cheapo nappy bargains cos of stupid work! And if Kindles are on tomorrow, I'm going to have to be late for reschedule a meeting! And the connection speed at work is crap.

MrsSnaplegs · 25/11/2010 17:19

They could have waited until after I've been paid Sad

ChickensHaveNoMercyForTurkeys · 26/11/2010 08:33

The 9pm surprise is definitely an XBox, just in case anyone's looking for one. I'm still holding out for a Kindle

sb6699 · 26/11/2010 09:25

I have given up. Tried for Nigella books, x-box game, board game and hair straighteners - got NADA!

GingerbreadLatteGoneColdAgain · 26/11/2010 09:27

TragicallyHip · 26/11/2010 11:52

crazybutterflylady · 26/11/2010 12:38

i missed the bloody kitchen aid :(

ChickensHaveNoMercyForTurkeys · 26/11/2010 13:07

Maybe TragicallyHip. Maybe Although there is an XBox going up at 9pm, so that might be their 'big' thing today. Humph.

Indith · 26/11/2010 13:10

I thought that perhaps, maybe I could break the budget and get ds a Buzz for his birthday but I didn't get one. My internet is very slow which I don't think helps.

Tolalola · 26/11/2010 13:39

Gah! I really wanted the Lego, but got distracted by the crossword and forgot...

mippy · 26/11/2010 14:06

I thought this was going to be a thread about how international companies think we're all in the US - Black Friday is pretty meaningless when you don't celebrate Thanksgiving.

angel1976 · 26/11/2010 14:25

Anyone wants the Chuggington set that I 'won' but don't really want? It does look pretty good but we are pretty swamped with train sets around here... LOL Grin

TragicallyHip · 26/11/2010 14:33

It's not meaningless when there are bargains to be had Grin

Umami · 26/11/2010 18:27

Well, I managed to get the set of books I was after. Missed the Le Creuset for the 3rd time. May have another go at Guitar Hero.

The Gordon Ramsay books may be quite a good deal.

And where oh where are the Kindles? Eh?
