Amazon are doing a 'Black Friday' (started today, finishes Fr - hence name) where each hour they flog summat off dirt cheap. I pressed BUY at 09:00:01 for Take That's new CD at £1 (for SiL) and have been "waiting in the queue" ever since...

I'm 37+3 and have been sleeping about 3 hours a night. AIBU to just go back to bed and sod the savings?! Grin

I missed the 5pm things because I was on here from 4:45 reading about the deals, so was too distracted to actually check them out!

Umami · 24/11/2010 17:13

Octopus - Twin Peaks is currently running on the Horror Channel, if you have Sky, though I think they may be some way through it.

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 24/11/2010 17:22

Umami - at first I was a bit Shock at the price - then I saw it was for 1.64kgs of crispy, crunchy goldfish-ness.
I wonder if they have pizza flavour?

Umami · 24/11/2010 17:24

They dooooo!

(though smaller bag)

GrumpyOldHorsewoman · 24/11/2010 17:25

oh lordy me...they do have pizza flavour!

TrillianAstra · 24/11/2010 17:29

Food on Amazon? Now this is dangerous...

TrillianAstra · 24/11/2010 17:31

I like pretending to be the lone voice of reason when really I am as fascinated as the rest of you!

Umami · 24/11/2010 17:32

Very. And lots of it is in multipacks.

3kg of drumsticks anyone?

I want a Kindle for a tenner. Anything else will make me sneer.

TheLogLady · 24/11/2010 22:01

i have spent a producti afternoon at work initiating my colleagues into the delights of amazon black friday Grin

i 'won' the castor scooter and ripstick but decided they were too pricey so ditched them. i really wanted the scooter at 9 for DD2's christmas pres but didn't get it. bum. never mind there's always tomorrow.

TheLogLady · 24/11/2010 22:02

i also told dh to do the twin peaks set for me for my christmas present. don't know if he got it or not. i sincerely hope so.

BerryLellow · 25/11/2010 09:10

I got the photoshop elements thingy last night, was a bit :S as not sure I really need it :o

My brother has convinced me I do :)

Just 'won' some nappies.

poorbuthappy · 25/11/2010 09:37

How much were the nappies? I'm lurking for the 10am nappy deals...

ChickensHaveNoMercyForTurkeys · 25/11/2010 09:40

I am unimpressed today so far. There's nothing I would want to buy.

poorbuthappy · 25/11/2010 10:02

sorted...136 pampers for £12. Quite impressed I managed to get them actually!

Ok, so its not a tv or anything...but it cheered me up!

TragicallyHip · 25/11/2010 10:12

I got nappies too! I still have 4 big boxes from when Boots were doing a deal..I'll have no room for anything else soon if I keep buying them, or Ds will be potty trained..Confused

poorbuthappy · 25/11/2010 11:08

Snap! I am hoping the twins don't suddenly have a growth spurt (yeah as if!) cos I now have a lot of nappies!

ChickensHaveNoMercyForTurkeys · 25/11/2010 13:17

Is it me or are the deals today far less impressive? However, I have heard rumour that Kindle 2's will be offered tomorrow morning at 9am....

emptyshell · 25/11/2010 13:23

I've soooo decided I want a Kindle. Attempts to convince hubby I need a Kindle have so far failed :(

ChickensHaveNoMercyForTurkeys · 25/11/2010 13:26

I need a Kindle. I have found many, many reasons why. If I can get one for under £100, I will be very happy

crazybutterflylady · 25/11/2010 16:54

well it's all a load of arse today... dammit I had my best clicking finger at the ready too only to empty the basket immediately having had the sweet taste of success
