Husband returns home from three day sailing trip, I find a condom in his sleeping bag whilst hanging it on the washing line after I have cleaned it. I asked how it got there and apparently it was an ongoing joke amongst the other married men on the boat. They kept moving condoms around. Am i being unreasonble by being uncomfortable with this ?

Hmm. TBH it sounds like something men might do. Was he definitely on a trip with other men - I mean, do you know the other men that went with him? I would probably give him the benefit of the doubt but YANBU to be a bit and about it.

Even if not wrapped, he'd have to be v slender to be up to no good in a single sleeping bag.

I get the joke, but what are condoms doing on the trip ? That's the un settling part ...

Unless you have any other reasons to be suspicious about your DH and you do trust him then i would accept this as men do stupid stuff like this all the time. It is only naturl to feel a reaction to this but if you have never had any real reason to doubt your DH previously then put it behind you and forget about it.

No reason why condoms wouldn't be on the trip - they could be kept in a wash bag as a matter of course by one of the other sailors. I'm with mylittlemonkey - if no other reason to worry, let it go.

I wouldn't worry aboout the condom being on the trip either. Couldn't one of them have just had some in a toiletries bag/pocket or something. Married men use condoms.

You could shit the others up by tellig them you're going to tell their wives that they hide their condoms in your dh's stuff so the wives don't find them

I think it's just a silly joke - my dad's colleagues once put a pair of knickers under the passenger seat of his car at his leaving do. If you ever met my dad you'd see why this was the most ridiculous thing on the planet. (Sorry dad ).

I'm also wondering about the "logistics" of a shag in a sleeping bag with two people... a posh wank yes, but a shag?
