Tortington · 15/07/2010 20:12

just opened active threads and its aibu aibu aibu fucking aibu.

don't hide behind aibu to be smug

don't hide behind aibu to get a load of docile people to tell you - that actually leaving a handprint when smacking is wrong.
or
to expect a nursery to be honest

or to post about your bank - put that in finance surely?

i am worried that the tongue in cheek aspect had done an elvis presley and suddenly everyone is treating it like a rhetorical question or to boast

paisleyleaf · 15/07/2010 20:14

I know what you mean

SlartyBartFast · 15/07/2010 20:15

agree, step away, or post this

scurryfunge · 15/07/2010 20:16

YANBU

Garibaldis all round

AnnoyingOrange · 15/07/2010 20:16

it's been like that for months

Tortington · 15/07/2010 20:16

by boast i meant boast about how UTTERLY outraged thay are.

now a thread like - aibu to read a book whilst having sex - that;s the spirit

OP posts:
mrspir8 · 15/07/2010 20:17

It's an open forum, sadly any one individual member is unable to control what people post. It's not worth getting annoyed about because you cannot control it.

AnnoyingOrange · 15/07/2010 20:17

and yes I agree with you

Ladyanonymous · 15/07/2010 20:19

Why should you control it?

We're all as able/entitled to post about what the fuck we want.

Pisses me off when people try to co ntrol what threads are on forums.

If you don't like them just don't read them.

AnnieLobeseder · 15/07/2010 20:20

YABU

So there.

singsinthebath · 15/07/2010 20:22

I think OP is just having a little rant about the fact that they are not that interesting. Of course, it's unreasonable to smack a child and leave a handprint. Bring on the decent bunfight debate.

Maisiethemorningsidecat · 15/07/2010 20:23

God you're so precious, princess

Get a life

Get over yourself

Tortington · 15/07/2010 20:24

dya see the irony in your post there lady anony?

OP posts:
mrspir8 · 15/07/2010 20:24

I agree with ladyanonymous. I wanted to complain and make my outrage at co-op known in a genuine bid to spread the news of thier awful awful customer services, in the vain hope it may have some impact on thier business and save some poor sod from going through what I am going though right now. I used AIBU because it's known to be popular, therefore more exposure. It's a valid reason to put anything at all, anywhere you like on the internet.

Tortington · 15/07/2010 20:25

my opinion not valid maisie?

OP posts:
southeastastra · 15/07/2010 20:25

i agree

Tortington · 15/07/2010 20:26

oh yes mrspir8 not questioning the validity of your problem with the co-op

OP posts:
2shoes · 15/07/2010 20:27

Maisiethemorningsidecat · 15/07/2010 20:31

They're the typical responses you get on any AIBU. Like clockwork. Guaranteed.

CatIsSleepy · 15/07/2010 20:32

YANBU
there's alot of pointless whingeing on there. People going on about little niggly things. Competitive outrage.
Brrrrrrr. Enough!

5inthebed · 15/07/2010 20:32

YANBU

Ladyanonymous · 15/07/2010 20:34

Not trying to tell people what they can and can't say on threads/forums.

No irony at all.

You always get a hierarchy on forums which pisses me off - people who have posted for ages seem to think they have some kind of ownership.

@custardo-sorry, felt this thread may have been a pop at my last thread. I'm feeling a little sensitive!

southeastastra · 15/07/2010 20:38

what is annoying is that some really serious and interesting subjects get posted on aibu and you have to wade through tons of rude or yabu posts to get to the really interesting and helpful posts.

extremely irritating when mn has so many topics to post on.

for a start
