just opened active threads and its aibu aibu aibu fucking aibu.

don't hide behind aibu to be smug

don't hide behind aibu to get a load of docile people to tell you - that actually leaving a handprint when smacking is wrong.
or
to expect a nursery to be honest

or to post about your bank - put that in finance surely?

i am worried that the tongue in cheek aspect had done an elvis presley and suddenly everyone is treating it like a rhetorical question or to boast

OP posts:
tethersend · 15/07/2010 22:14

You were (almost) right the first time, grace

See me after class.

Fontella · 15/07/2010 22:15

I made the mistake of starting a thread on there but admit I probably didn't word the OP very well .. and I ended up getting a right kicking.

What pissed me off most was yeah ok, my thread was trivial (and probably wrong) but I was getting all kinds of assumptions made about me, even down to what newspaper I read. They were definitely going for the jugular and I sloped away having learned a valuable lesson - don't ever start a thread on AIBU unless you are prepared to get battered.

scottishmummy · 15/07/2010 22:15

stoating aibu requires a barney, and wee humphy faces

i was on a aibu, actively disagreeing with someone when she put out a call for her posse as in oi so-n-so get over here...and they did.all the mates piled in,school fight style

hilarious

ItsGraceActually · 15/07/2010 22:18

Fuck off yourself Maisie

Your previous post gave me a moment just now ... d'you know, now I'm no longer a southerner, I have developed bingo wings! Is there a secret upper-arm-flab applying station at Watford Gap? Does anyone know how this happens??

We could hold an arm-wobbling contest. North vs Midlands, obviously, as they don't have Wings dahn sarf

scottishmummy · 15/07/2010 22:21

now,its a real aibu.swearing etc.just need the op to namechange and support her own dire post.and forget to namechange back.or get husband to pile in

Maisiethemorningsidecat · 15/07/2010 22:21

Aye, so right SM. I'd also like a wee arm coming up from behind the humphey face and throwing a bottle of buckie at the other poster.

It's true though - some of the assumptions that are made about other poster's entire lives are quite amazing, and then if you dare to disagree the cavalry arrives to back up their assertion that you are indeed a precious princess without a life blah blah blah bleuurrgghhh

blackberryway · 15/07/2010 22:21

I'm fucked off with people constantly suggesting 'rules' for AIBU - don't 'drip-feed, don't post about other threads, don't post on stuff that 'belongs' elsewhere - don't need your rules! If you're tired of AIBU then you've probably been here too long.

ItsGraceActually · 15/07/2010 22:25

But ... it wouldn't be unreasonable if it didn't have unreasonable rules about what it's reasonable to be unreasonable about and vice versa (unreasonably).

Now, would it? (Tethers, WBVU to correct quintuple negatives there, y'know.)

scottishmummy · 15/07/2010 22:25

the revisionist.drip info to support op are irksome.op all i said dis but i really meant dat so dont dig me up on my post

Maisiethemorningsidecat · 15/07/2010 22:25

Bingo wings are essential up north. The extra skin can be wrapped around our bodies to keep up all warm and toastie . My bingo wings will happily rise to your challenge (and win, natch!)

Scottish - she won't have a husband, because we'll have worked out from her OP that he's cheating on her. And that she reads the DM.

ItsGraceActually · 15/07/2010 22:26

I love "wee humphy faces"! I wonder if mumsnet would change the code to [humphy]?

southeastastra · 15/07/2010 22:26

people don't make sense on aibu its like mn's padded cell topic

tethersend · 15/07/2010 22:26

Arf.

He who is tired of AIBU is tired of life

scottishmummy · 15/07/2010 22:28

nah,the most deluded mn rantings are any nursery/working mums thread.all that quasi-research and biddulph tambourine

Maisiethemorningsidecat · 15/07/2010 22:31

I was going to post an AIBU earlier when I went to the butter and found yet again that DH had scraped the excess of his last bit of toast and put it back in the butter, thereby mixing old butter and wholemeal toast crumbs with the new butter. Boak.

Seriously, I wanted to kill him. So I did. And it saved me from a lecture about my lack of social life and from being called the daughter of a queen who needs to get over herself.

ItsGraceActually · 15/07/2010 22:33

Maisie, I am Grace's DP and I can tell you HER WING'S ARE BIGGER THAN YOUR'S and I don't appreciate my slave wife being "challenged" by Daily Star reading scum with no opinion's of their own. If she spend's any more time conferring with you fool's on here, she won't have time to scrub the doorstep while sucking my dick [humphy] so FUCK OFF!

scottishmummy · 15/07/2010 22:34

maisie what is your preoccupation with princesses?where you denied access to the tulle and tiaras as a child

ItsGraceActually · 15/07/2010 22:34

Too busy ROFLing at your toast post to continue ...

You win, Maisie! YABU

Maisiethemorningsidecat · 15/07/2010 22:38

Oi, Maisie's DH here. Right, first of all, NO-ONE calls my wife's wings small and secondly, don't you call me scum for reading the Daily Star and fourthly don't tell me to fuck off you STUPID FUCK.

MAISIE, GET BACK IN HER AND GET ON YOUR KNEES. IF HE'S GETTING A BLOW I WANT ONE TOO!

scottishmummy · 15/07/2010 22:39

ItsGraceActually · 15/07/2010 22:39
scottishmummy · 15/07/2010 22:40

lol when op on aibu blatantly namechanges.or husband rocks up shoutin the odds in support

catinthehat2 · 15/07/2010 22:44

Was I the only one whose heart was racing a bit with fear at the SM/Maisie 'fight' earlier?

Maisiethemorningsidecat · 15/07/2010 22:45

Sitting on a slightly damp seat here too, Grace!

Oh yes, the histrionics when a dh won't share his pieces. Emotional passive-agressive abuse, dontcha know!

scottishmummy · 15/07/2010 22:46
