What do I replace my nightly glass of wine with?

Just that really. Trying to stop drinking during the week as the summer comes to a close but......just what do I have in the evening to look forward to? I HATE baths btw. Hit me with some of your best suggestions to break this cycle please

When I do dry spells I like a fancy cordial with soda water. You can put it into a nice glass with a slice of lemon or something so it feels like a real drink. I enjoy the tang of ginger ale but limit it as very sugary. A friend loves nosecco but I think it’s too plain. Kambucha can be a good option too if you like the yeasty flavour.

Week 3 under way and I feel like myself again. I've managed to go for a run a couple of times this week, dinners were batched cooked on Monday and overall there's a real feeling of accomplished calmness about the house. I've been leaving my leftover bottle of wine/beer from the weekend on the kitchen counter. I can see it's there, I know I can have it whenever I want, but I choose not to. Its a great feeling to be more in control. I have a cupboard stocked with all kinds of delicious herbal teas. To be honest my evenings are so full of things to do now that I'm not pouring a glass of wine and plonking in front of the telly Im knackered by this time (10.30 😅).

That's absolutely brilliant @MyDeepAquaMentor ! Lots of people who have gone completely sober say how much more active, organised, calm, fulfilling etc their lives are now. Happy for you ☺️
