@OhioOhioOhio

I thought I'd lost you all. Yay!!! Am so tempted tonight. I hate teaching online.

Checking in. Started after the last weekend in Jan so day 8 today. Headachy Friday and Saturday all day but gone now. Tired every morning wide awake every night but drinking lots of water so hopefully flushing out all the toxins! Hopefully will start getting a good 8 hours soon too.

Not yet. I've been doing several supermarket shifts and walking about 12000 steps each shift so I'm sure that's got something to do with it! Tummy/waist looks less bloated I think. And boobs are less matronly!

@CandyLeBonBon yep am sure that helps. I am sat at my computer all day so need to get moving. Am very happy today with the vaccine news though. Basking in a bit of hope.

Day 11 great stuff 😁 had a healthy dinner and am on the sugar free orange squash, feels great not to be spending all day wondering if I'm going to have a drink, havnt really noticed any weight loss though even tho I've started a diet . I've got to resist looking in the mirror for a two stone weight loss after 7 days 🤣

Report

goldpendant · 11/01/2021 22:25

Haha @PeacheyPeach I keep doing the same, sucking my tummy in and wondering why it hasn't disappeared completely yet!

I just ate a Cadbury’s flake. Never ate sweet things (because of all the booze). So weird how you then start wanting sweets.

CandyLeBonBon · 11/01/2021 22:52

Haha same @goldpendant and @PeacheyPeach - I want instant weight loss NOWWWW!!

Wow @CandyLeBonBon that’s an amazing loss! I don’t have scales but certainly don’t feel any lighter yet Sad.

All I’m drinking is herbal tea and slimline tonic so you’d think it’d have an effect Sad

MoonBaby1 · 11/01/2021 23:03

@Blessex I have the most savoury tastes ever but have been craving sweets recently.

Thanks @Blessex I am trying hard with the weight loss but lying here reading your post I would swop at least 2lbs of it right now for a Cadbury's flake Grin

@123orbust nooo I want your weightloss! Well done everyone. Another day done!

Yay. Another day to tick off. I too have struggled in the morning. Takes ages to come round. Weird!

Report

Blessex · 11/01/2021 23:52

@Origamiheaven maybe because it’s nearly midnight and I am still faffing around reading mumsnet with insomnia instead of being passed out asleep on the sofa Grin

Morning all and well done everyone. That weight loss is amazing @ candy must make such a difference. It is getting easier though it always is during the week but the weekend was not too bad so can be done and i will cling onto that.
My skin is looking better, probably down to the medication and creams but am going to put it down not drinking to spur me on.

Well I've put on 2kg so my healthy eating starts today. Trouble is I'm trying out vegan Oreo cheesecake recipes for a friend to potentially sell in his business so that's going to be hard to resist. I have far more willpower to resist booze than I do sugar

I'm the same, shattered in the morning and feel really sluggish. This was not how it was meant to be! Still at least am sleeping well in the night. Heading into day 11. I decided to try the Kombucha, elderflower and lemon from Sainsbury's, I liked it!

Report

IheartJKR · 12/01/2021 08:06

I’m so jealous of those that are experiencing weight loss. I suppose it’s taken nearly a year to put it on so I must be patient!
I must try this Kombucha you talk of, what are the benefits?

Haggisfish · 12/01/2021 08:48

Well done everyone! I’m still in too-I am so chuffed with myself. I feel mentally much better-just more happy.

Day 12. That's 2 days off a fortnight! I'm stunned that I'm on 12 days already! I would normally struggle with 12 hours. Well done everyone and thanks for keeping me on track!
