Checking in on the new thread. I have stayed dry, enjoyed a Sunday roast yesterday and thanks to also watching what I eat I have also lost 5.25lbs since 4th Jan ( I had my last drink on the 2nd but forgot to weigh myself until the 4th).
I really want to stick with it as Christmas was very fun and indulgent and I pretty much had whatever I fancied. A month of AF and healthy eating will do me a lot of good.

Great to see most have got through the weekend, I did too. Those who didn’t don’t be hard on yourselves. There but for the grace of my god, go I. DH kept asking me if I want a glass of wine. I stayed strong. Great to still be going at the start of week 2. Unheard of for me. It has come to light that the DC (20 somethings) and DH have a sweep stake going as to when I will crack. am not going to. Have a great week everyone. Also, I tick the app quite early, it keeps me on the straight and narrow whilst cooking the evening meal. X

For anyone who wants to try kombucha and is worried that it will taste like fermented tea (which is what it is) I very much recommend the brand Lo Bros (especially the raspberry and lemon flavour), it is delicious. Also very low in sugar/calories. I love all kombucha and have drunk it for years, but this brand is great for an introduction as it does not taste as "kombucha-ish" as some others....

Cooked spaghetti with crab tonight and it needed white wine. Nearly panicked but sloshed in some of the trusty 0% eisberg - probably better in cooking than drinking honestly . Ate the pasta with the rest of the bottle. My kids are trying to catch me out too @TimeForMe2020 - my DS said he has a 50 pound bet I cannot do it. Now have a zero Gordon’s and tonic. Am sure I am ruining the calories with full sugar tonic and zero wine but at the moment I can live with that. Super impressed and slightly envious of the 5.25lb @123orbust
