theres an offer on at the moment for zizzi, buy a main meal get the other for £1. 7ish is also good for me.

Kewcumber · 20/05/2010 11:11

zizzi would be good for me as I might be able to eat something there! They have one on the strand near charing cross tube if theat more convenient? Or one in Covent Garden.

Any of those would be good for me (and I'm liking second main for £1!)

the strand looks good

hifi · 20/05/2010 11:47

so does cov garden

Silver1 · 20/05/2010 15:42

Both are good for me as I shall be coming into Waterloo.

Kewcumber · 21/05/2010 14:18

Strand one is walking distance to embankment and charing cross so why don't we aim or that one?

OP posts:
Silver1 · 21/05/2010 15:35

Sounds good to me- Strand 7:15 onwards bring a jar of chutney or wear a flower in your button hole, or something----

hifi · 21/05/2010 18:32

shall i book it?

bran · 21/05/2010 18:38

That sounds fine to me. I might be a little closer to 7.30 depending on when DH gets in.

KristinaM · 21/05/2010 18:39

sounds good, I'm looking forward to it

Silver1 · 21/05/2010 21:12

Yes HIFI-GO FOR IT

Kewcumber · 21/05/2010 23:04

Hifi - book it under a mysterious pseudonym so we all have to go in and say "the mackeral flies at dusk" or some such.

OP posts:
Silver1 · 22/05/2010 00:58

or
Flowers and Chutney for the cucumber!

hifi · 22/05/2010 10:09

ill book it under Mrs Fanjo

KristinaM · 23/05/2010 11:07

puuuulleese no! unless i can pronounce it like the spanish

and what if the waitperson is a mumsnetter? then he/she will

KristinaM · 23/05/2010 11:09

BTW kew i think i will recognise you..........unless you have faded away to a stick on this diet

do i just go up to tables of strangee women and casually chat about mackerel? or do you all look like mumsnetters

Kewcumber · 24/05/2010 18:53

ooo-er. Slight problem - hosiptal have rung and asked if I can go in Weds, which means I will be minus 80% of my Stomach on Thursday and therefore unlikely to be eating any much dinner (and still in hospital anyway!).

You could all come to CHaring Cross hospital at tea time instead of Zizzi's?

OP posts:
KristinaM · 25/05/2010 08:07

oh kew, i'm so sorry you wont be there. but please to hear that you are getting your surgery sooner - a few less days to worry

ahem - i dont think you'll be allowed any visitors post op - at least not 5 mad women off the internet

Kewcumber · 25/05/2010 08:34

actually I will be allowed visitors on Thursday (op hopefully on Weds) but agree 5 of you might be a bit overwhelming for the NHS!

OP posts:
KristinaM · 25/05/2010 08:36

hifi · 25/05/2010 08:55

PheasantPlucker · 25/05/2010 09:15

Hi KristinaM, I am off to RHS Chelsea in a mo, am v excited.
I seem to be getting the bug my daughters have both had, but am trying hard to keep it at bay.
Have a good day all.

KristinaM · 25/05/2010 10:45

oh PP you will have a fab time, everyone will be so excited about the medals . if you go near a TV camera, could you wave a sign saying " hello mumsnetters"?

i thought Tom Stuart Smith and Rogers Platts gardens looked lovely ( but I love the country garden style). I excpet some of the courtyards are good too, but they havent had much Tv coverage yet

please post tonight with all your hot tips

i am stuck in the house with DS2 who have the dreaded D&V bug [yuck]. He is at the stage where he just wants to sit on mums lap and watch cbeebies. If i have to watch another episode of Thomas and Friends/charlie and lola/peppa pig/3rd and bird etc i will scream........

when he seems to be dropping off I quickly turn the TV to my recorded Chelsea highlights.cue for DS to wake up and announces " that's boring"

sigh
