Which slebs make your teeth itch?

Bleh · 23/09/2009 15:34

Generally, the level to which they make my teeth itch is directly proportional to their level of uselessness.
I cannot stand:

  • Sienna Miller. I cannot STAND the woman. I was barely able to recognise her for years, as she just seems to look like all other simpering blonde starlets
  • Mylene Klass. I very nearly stopped using M&S for currency exchange once they stuck her gurning face on the envelope you get your money in
  • Katie Price
  • Kerry Katona
  • Other Big Brother nonentities (though fortunately these are disappearing).

Most shocking thing about this thread afaiak is that I have not even heard of some of these celebs who make you all annoyed. I have heard of Pixie Lott but not seen a pic of her.

But Katy Perry? Laura Bailey?

Excuse me but WHO?

[old gimmer emoticon]

cyteen · 24/09/2009 09:49

Am happy to say that under no circumstances would I want to be Pixie Lott!

  • her 'music' is unmitigated, embarrassing shit
  • her stylists seem hellbent on making her up to look like a raddled 40 year old has-been
  • I've had my day in the sun as far as hotpants are concerned, and I looked ten times better in them than she does
  • she has all the personality of a wet mop, which means that in this age of mentalist self-producing electro femmes like Gaga and LaRoux and Little Boots, she will be on the scrapheap in about 6 months' time and working at her local CostCo in about 12.
UnquietDad · 24/09/2009 11:23

LOL yes, why would any women want to bitch about willowy, blonde, pert, young, dewy-eyed, successful Pixie Lott? I can't understand it

cyteen · 24/09/2009 11:34

I refer the esteemed gentleman to my previous answer

MissAnneElk · 24/09/2009 11:48

Jeremy Clarkson was mildly amusing about a hundred years ago, but is now a complete caricature of himself.

I watched Ulrika Jonson (sp?) on come dine with me the other day and she bleated on and on about her wheat 'allergy' and then said oh, I'll just have a quarter portion of that pasta dish because I have a wheat allergy - how fucking annoying is that?

Lily - I'm such a cockney - Allen

AnotherBloodySugaBabe · 24/09/2009 11:55

Every one of the 'moggles' and 'pwesenterrrrs' in the pages of London Lite / The London paper e.g. Peaches Geldof, Pixie Lott, Lily Cole, Daisy Lowe, Alexa Chung, Agyness Dean etc...why do I need to know who these witless morons are?

Kate Moss.

Fiona Phillips - miserable, unlikeable, npt even on GMTV anymore - stop bleating about your boring life in Womans Own.

Does Clarkson need another mention? Twunt of epic proportions.

Comedians who ARE NOT funny. Julian Clary springs to mind. And those awful Little Britain men, especially the supposedly straight one.

Carol Vorderman. You're 45 and slim, That's a lovely story, but I've heard it now.

Peter 'saint' Andre. You milked that marriage for all it was worth, you mercenary fuckwit.

Melinda Messenger. And other smiley, scary people.

AnotherBloodySugaBabe · 24/09/2009 11:56

Lady GaGa. crude attention seeking donkey

TheMightyToosh · 24/09/2009 11:59

Jude Law - he's so slimey! WHAT does anybody see in that creep??

Kim Marsh - she is so smug looking in Corrie, and I wish she would just get a hair do that will stay put so she doesn't have to keep pushing her fringe to one side cos it keeps falling forwards!! Argh!

Katie Price/Kerry Katona/anyone else in the same category (of course!)

AnotherBloodySugaBabe · 24/09/2009 12:06

Ooh I agree withy you on Jude Law@TheMightyToosh. Philanderer...and receding. Yuck.

Earlybird · 24/09/2009 12:20

Chantelle (or whatever her name is) from a long ago Big Brother.

In the 'why are they considered leading men' category, two people whose movies I actively avoid:
Nicholas Cage
Jim Carey

Jude Law - He's past his sell-by date. Not only is his relationship behaviour/judgement questionable, he is rapidly losing his physical appeal.

George Michael - complete disaster. Why is he so miserable?

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie - sick of them both, especially now we keep seeing endless tabloid stories on their deteriorating relationship

mayorquimby · 24/09/2009 12:40

"Oh yes, Bono. There's a joke apparently "What's the difference between G-d and Bono? G-d doesn't believe he's Bono".
"

yeah there's an irish version of the oke and the punchline is "god doesn't walk around dalkey/sit in the queens thinking he's bono"

i can't stand cheryl cole,as simon amstell says, apparently we're all supposed to forget what a horrible human being she is becaus she's on x-factor now.

spokette · 24/09/2009 13:01

Women

Carol Vorderman
Really Untalented Girls Aloud
Kylie and Danni Minogue
Spice Bores, especially the tuneless Halliwell
Wags who pollute the newsheet - only purpose in life for most of them is to spend their partner's money

Men

Ricki Gervais - much to smug
Russell Brand - ughhhhhhh!
Chris Moyles
Jeremy Clarkson - prat
Robbie Williams
Noel and Liam Gallagher - time to grow up

spokette · 24/09/2009 13:03

Forgot to add Kerry Katona

What is her purpose in life?

KingRolo · 24/09/2009 13:19

Everyone seems to have forgotten that the 'nation's sweetheart' Cheryl Cole was found guilty of assault after punching a toilet attendant.

But it't Anthea Turner who really makes my teeth itch.

happystory · 24/09/2009 13:25

Jade- I'm so tanned and lovely and live in Ibiza- Jagger. Posing with her daughters like they're fashion accessories.

John- bloody 'what a hoot I am' Barrowman

Itsjustafleshwound · 24/09/2009 13:28

Agree with most..

Charlie Boorman
Ewan McGregor
Sean Connery
Paul Butler Burrell
Bono
Bob Geldof and daughters
Russell Crowe

petetong · 24/09/2009 21:10

I'm surprised it took so long for Anthea Turner to be mentioned and of course the lovely Grant Bovey. I loathe absolutely everybody mentioned on this thread.

hf128219 · 24/09/2009 21:16

I could shoot Kerry Katona. I really could.

owlandpussycat · 24/09/2009 21:27

Richard hammond- in that dreadful advert for morrison's. Get a hair cut- you are neither cute/a surfer/ sexy or endearing.

Quite frankly you look ridiculous!

We now all shout at him when it comes on.

What does he actually do in rl?

Also with other poster in avoiding anything with sleazy nicholas cage eugh

ciforjif · 24/09/2009 21:43

Why is Bono hated so much?

(Grabbing my coat....)

HolidaysQueen · 24/09/2009 21:47

oh yes, richard hammond in that advert. had a complete mid life crisis since his accident. can't bear him.

female place in the sun presenters:
amanda lamb - wooden wooden vacant wooden
jasmine - snarls and sneers and has a terrible way with words

any not very famous woman who sells too much of their lives to the press. i remember reading some inconsequential comments from that chastity bird off emmerdale saying things like "i'm so in love with my husband. he completes me" and i wanted to hurl so much when reading it that i can unfortunately never forget it.

zookeeper - you'd get on with my DH. He probably couldn't bear that Keira Knightley perfume advert anyway as he thinks she's awful, but it's made even worse for him by the music being by Joss Stone!

mrstimlovejoy · 24/09/2009 22:42

tess daly and vernon kay
paris hilton
kerry katona
coleen nolan [infact all of the loose women but especially her]
al murray
billy connolly
ruby wax

UnquietDad · 25/09/2009 10:18

I don't think Bono is hated for his music, a lot of which is rather good. It's more the way he has to preach all the time. I actually don't think he is that big a tosser and is probably quite sincere in his beliefs, but it obviously rankles that a multi-millionaire can stand up and lecture people on a tiny fraction of his income about giving to charity.

cyteen · 25/09/2009 10:34

Not to mention him flying his favourite hat across the world, first class, because he wanted it when he was on tour.

mayorquimby · 25/09/2009 12:31

also when he spends most of his profesional career avoiding paying any tax in his home land but still thinks he's in a position to ax lyrical about the obligations of our government and also lecture the rest of the citizens on what we should be doing with our cash.
