Generally, the level to which they make my teeth itch is directly proportional to their level of uselessness.
I cannot stand:

• Mylene Klass. I very nearly stopped using M&S for currency exchange once they stuck her gurning face on the envelope you get your money in
• Katie Price
• Kerry Katona
• Other Big Brother nonentities (though fortunately these are disappearing).

I wonder if Peter, Vernon and Jay are all long-lost brothers.

Russell Brand is well up there onmy list to, he needs a wash and to stop being a bell end.

UQD - I know what you mean about Jay Kay, although having been to see him twice in concert (in the past).....he is a really fab dancer and I tend to reason that as a non sportsman, he can (sort of) carry off a tracksuit....

I'd also forgotten about Gary Linekar, yes he managed to pull a fast one with the 'leaving my wife for a younger version' scenario. Other people would have been slated for that one but he seems to be a bit of a media darling.
