I agree with Spero. KK and her husband are both wastes of space but I dont see any benefit in taking the kids away. Where would they go? At least she can afford nannies and the like to look after them while she's on benders. She's a crap mum and the biggest laugh of the century was giving her celebrity mum of the year but I dont really think they'd be better off in care. Her children probably really love their nannies and at least they live in a nice house and go to a good school etc - as Spero said, they're not sitting in dogshit half starved and there is nothing at all to suggest that they are being abused or mistreated in any way. What would be the point of uprooting them to live with strangers?

I find it a bit alarming that a nice house and nice school and the absence of dog shit on the floors are being cited as evidence that they are not having a terrible childhood

and that OK, the parents are bloody awful but surely the nannies will do

it is possible to have a fucking dreadful damaging childhood without dog shit on the floors and dirty matresses in the front yard

I think they would be better off being placed elsewhere

even if a foster carer/adoptive family came from a lower socio-economic echelon and didn't have a fuck-off big house, at least they would be safe and not have to see the adults who are supposed to be their parents falling apart all over the place

Haggis, I don't think it is that easy. Drug addiction is often just one tiny piece of a truly fucked up jigsaw. It is horrible when children get caught up in it, and they should be taken out asap, but simply condemning the parents as selfish doesn't get us very far.

But believe me, KK's children are already much much better off than most of the children whose parents do lots of drugs.

I feel sorry for her! She had a shit upbringing so didn't start off with a strong moral compass. Since she was 16 (a child still) she has had a succession of people taking what they want from her. FFS even her own FAMILY sell stories to the papers. And now this - as this is not really in the public interest I am surprised that it is even legal to publish this!

I'm not all surprised that she is totally mixed up. Lots of people take drugs, lots of people have mental health problems. Should SS step in and remove all the kids from these households, when for all we know, they are perfectly well looked after and loved?

I agree that the general air of family melodrama is a bigger deal than the drugs actually - but I can't get over the sheer bloody dangerousness of leaving a big tray full of coke in plain accessibility of the kids. And no wonder she's skint, judging by the size of her stash

Reality, she's a self-confessed alcoholic who nevertheless continues to drink copiously, plus she's mixing it with what is quite likely large amounts of coke (that video left little doubt that she's well-practised). Plus, of course, there's the medication for her bi-polar disorder which she may or may not be taking as well.

This isn't someone doing a bit of coke now and then with mates, for a giggle, when the kids are having a sleep-over somewhere else. It was 5pm, her children were in the house. Even if her children didn't see her snorting it up they'll be able to tell that she's off her face.

Yes, she has nannies looking after her children while she gets shitfaced, that won't make her kids feel any better about why mummy would rather get toasted rather than to spend time with them.

Anyfucker, I think people blame Mark, as instead of (possibly) planting a hidden camera & selling the video he should , if he were any kind of a man, husband or father, be encouraging her to seek help!

But either way, to say he has fuck all to do with it, is not correct! If he didn't plant the camera, then he knows she has a habit & is just aiding her but doing nothing!

Oh & don't let Brian fool you people, he is in mags over here on a regular basis slagging off Kerry. He left his girls for to live in Australia & rarely sees them. He is too busy (doing nothing) to see them, it would appear!

If it was just "Oh, generally stable woman takes drugs of a weekend evening when then kids are out", I'd be right with you in asking what the fuss was. Or, if it was "Oh, generally stable woman who's got an ongoing booze problem but deals with it reasonably well" then, again, I'd be with you. Or "Generally stable woman with bi-polar who's doing what she can to control it". Or "Generally stable woman whose love-life is a bit of a mess".

Any one of those, fair enough. It's the combination that's the concern for me here. Mental illness plus active alcoholism plus significant class-A drug abuse plus chaotic relationships... All those are significant problems by themselves but added all together raises some really serious questions about what kind of effects all this is having on her children. I know how much of an effect my ex's alcoholism has on our kids and it was profound.

They are on MTV now discussing the fact that Mark allegedly has photos of her taking drugs, they both say this is not true. They then go on to say that an easy way to make money would be to set up a shot of her taking drugs.

Maybe she's using so much to try and lose weight after he humilliated her in public calling her a lardie. She certainly looks slim in the video, if it is her.

Not defending her in the least. I don't buy the mags she appears in.

Oh well that explains it...she needs the money....
