Have to confess FV is still my all time fav and if I was forced to give all games up but one I would keep FV

I am saving up for an expansion but the second expansion is £35,000 or something silly! I can't wait to see how much the next ones cost!

I've cheated though - I've spent most of the afternoon signing up for free offers using my spam email account to get RC and bought a few showers of rain and 1000 organic fertilizer.

So I'll be over taking you tonght >> - oh and probably buying expansion LOL.

I tried a few of the sign up things but most of them seem to want too much from me, like credit card applications and things...sorry but I am not taking a credit card for some RC

Yeah lots of them I didn't do because they wanted credit card details or for me to download stuff. But anything that didn't need those...........I did it .

Won't be doing anymore once this bag of fertilizer is gone, apart from the daily application of the day (which I deleted a few days later) so it'll just be the next couple of hours that I zoot up lol

mind you - I've got an incredibly hectic couple of weeks coming up with school stuff and church stuff (being the organist at the latter and Christmas coming up) - so you might like to sieze the next 4 weeks or so to catch up

Considering getting rid of my animals then as they take up too much room.

Only other rosettes to get are the new ones introduced recently ie fertilising others crops etc (which I have not done for 2 days!!)

ALFA - do you use a desktop or a laptop to play Bejewelled?

My old laptop could cope with playing it but the new one is hopeless. However, I have always got better results on a desktop. Seems to be able to go faster. I usually beat my friends, or at least I did before you appeared at the top of the leader board, making me feel inadequate!

Finally managed to plant up the whole plot on CL. Think I expanded too soon and didn't have the money to actually play.

Note to self: patience is a virtue.

lol Simpson - you're snapping at my heels on FV and you don't know that the blue ribbon is the top one .

I got rid of most of my animals to concentrate on plants once I got my ribbon for it. Not only do they take up room -but they slow the game down as well as they're animated.

Well done on the pumpkin - going to be end of the week before I get my 5th mastery sign - will be sunflowers.

Have 3 ribbons left to get in total, the last 2 of the harvesting fertilized crops one, and the blue flower harvesting one.

I've done that before many moons ago on FT or was it FV? Expanded before I could actually afford it.

Now I ALWAYS make sure that I've planted the next lot of crops/spent any money that needs spending before doing extras like that

TBH I have a lot of crops I have got 2 stars for iyswim so hopefully can fill my farm with signs LOL.

ALFA - if you say animals slow down farm, they are doomed

How does rain work ALFA? Is it one rain over all the plants you have or something? I am a bit confused by it as it costs the same as 200 feltiliser that you can select where you use...

Yes they slow the game down, it's because they're animated. I noticed a definite "speed up" when I got rid of all those cows and chickens I used to own.

Rain works by raining once over all the plants (and trees) and reducing the time for all of them by 25%. The fertilizer you can select, and use more than once on one plot (so you could plant 2 corn fields and with 8 fertilizers have them ready to harvest in 8 clicks).

bugger - all that fertilzer and several lots of harvests and replants and I'm STILL not up to level 17 -doesn't help that everything you earn xp points for is worth 1xp

Yes, another thing I have noticed, clover is far and away best for xp because you use it 3 times IYSWIM (to get to cheese) so get 4xp rather than 2 you get for everything else (including planting it).

I am pushing for my second expansion...but am getting out off by the cautionary tales here. so far I have not ben causght out but I probably will be now due to over-enthusiasm

Do I get a mill that gets through the wheat in 45 seconds, and sell for 62

or stick with the shepp that take longer at 90 seconds, but make me 1 coin more per wheat.......
