Tesco Clubcard - it's become so crap, what to spend vouchers on?

How rubbish is Tesco Clubcard now?! 😩
I used to save my vouchers up and spend them on Denby, but they’re no longer a partner. In the past I’ve also used them for jewellery bits, but that doesn’t seem to be an option anymore either.
The choice of rewards seems so poor now, unless you want a magazine subscription or to have your car washed.
Or am I missing some really good options? I’ve got about £80 in vouchers, so it’s not exactly life changing money, but I’d still like to spend it on something nice rather than just use it against the weekly shop.
What are you all spending your Clubcard vouchers on these days?

I save mine up all year and put it towards the Christmas shop. You really don’t get so much value from the vouchers these days, I agree.

BearPear · Yesterday 20:13

I got double value on a “two together” rail card.

I am with you! They have reduced the value of the rewards and who you can spend with. We used to use if to buy OS digital mapping but they haven’t been a partner for ages. The restaurant options are worth far less now. To be fair to Tesco Denby isn’t trading any more having gone into administration so they can’t offer that. Do they still let you swap it for Disney+ membership? That was decent. I now get that with my bank account though so can’t use it for that. Interested if anyone has found a hidden gem of a Clubcard partner.

We had a meal at Bella Italia the other day, £18 worth of points. Wouldn't normally be my first choice of restaurant but a family meal out for £12 (drinks) is pretty good these days.

Took the kids to Alton Towers a couple of years ago, saved £120.

Cinema vouchers? There's loads of entertainment which is helpful when everything is so expensive these days. Or just put it towards your next stop and spend the £80 on something you want

Thesockthief · Yesterday 20:14

We use them for Eurotunnel tickets. Only good if you want to go by car to France though!

ShhhYouDontKnowMe · Yesterday 20:14

We also use it for a railcard.

ClaudeHopper · Yesterday 20:14

I just convert them to pizza express vouchers and give them to my kids.

Simonjt · Yesterday 20:15

I used to turn mine into virgin points for flights

blueberrymilkshake · Yesterday 20:15

I was wondering if the Virgin Red option is a potentially a good one. Exchange vouchers into Virgin Red points and then use on various things - it does look like a lot of faff though...

National express is no longer part of the scheme so no idea what to spend my points on

FeltCarrot · Yesterday 20:15

We’ve used ours on Hotels.com for free nights or to upgrade to a nicer hotel.

That's actually a pretty good idea!

They are worth triple the value on certain restaurant meals but remember to check which menu they are valid against before you order!

Breadfrog · Yesterday 20:18

Lately, I swap them for my delivery pass so it feels like my delivery is 'free' for six months. You used to get double the value for this, but now it's just a straight swap.

Otherwise I use for a Friends and Family Railcard, or Pizza Express.

I too used to get Denby. I don't have kids, so lego land/theme parks are a waste. I'm far from rural, but majority of the restaurant options would be a 1hr round trip to get to. There is a prezzo not far so I tried that last time. The food was ok, but I thought it was very expensive for an average sized, single serve pizza!

lovemelongtime · Yesterday 20:20

I got my senior Railcard, but the rest just go towards Christmas shop. They used to be decent didn't they.

Nottodaythankyou123 · Yesterday 20:20

I use mine for the more expensive days out with kids that I’d struggle to justify otherwise. The Clubcard challenges mean I seem to rack up the points quite quickly, and as they’re double value, it doesn’t take too long to get the amount we need! (Or at least to cover 2/3 of us)

sohard · Yesterday 20:20

I use them for railcards or Alton tower tickets.

MustTryHarderAndHarder · Yesterday 20:20

Pizza Express. You get 3 times the value

Happiestathome · Yesterday 20:22

We swap ours for Disney plus, zizzi or pizza express.

OddBoots · Yesterday 20:24

It's certainly a long way from the days when you used to get 4x the value on so many things, including towards my Open University degree!

Sunshineandrainbow · Yesterday 20:24

We did pizza express last time and DD went with her friend. Don't get many now as don't really shop there. It was really worth it when you used to get 4x the value it felt like a good treat!

I used them for BSM driving lessons!

blueberrymilkshake · Yesterday 20:26

I'm trying to work out the Virgin Red thing and it's worth the faff - there seem to be more options to pick from there...
