Yes I’ve seen it on every social media platform. Does make you wonder why they’ve leaked this photograph when in the past they’ve done everything they can to play things down.

It was open before the pair of nutters decided to pick a fight with Iran! And there's no sign whatsoever of US or Israel winning this war, so the rest of the world pays the price for their willy waving.

This was posted at 23:18, last night.
The call from the member of the public was after midnight. So the alert level was already raised.

@MissyB1 so the rest of the world pays the price for their willy waving. This is what pisses me right off, we are all dragged into a situation none of us wants. To be fair it's not just America and Iran. Russia is pissed off with us re Ukraine help and probably other countries for the help we are giving Saudi Arabia. What a sad state of affairs.

....so we should become completely isolationist and not even aid the likes of Ukraine in case there's blow back on UK soil....?

@notimagain I never said that. I said it pisses me off and it's a sad state of affairs which no one wants. Do I think we should help our allies America, yes I do. Should we be helping zelensky yes I think so. However I still think all of these wars are down to Governments behaviours that could potentially drag us normal on the street citizens in the UK and many other countries into things we don't want. That's why I quoted MissyB1 sentence.

The use of RAF Fairford by the US for bombing missions, together with the growth of military drone factories in Swindon just to the south, has made the area quite a target for threats from abroad. All the security services will be paying close attention.

This is nothing to do with small boats and posters suggesting it is, are overlooking the real threat.

Well I'm glad the US tipped us off and the attack was foiled. But we used to get a lot of information that has prevented many attacks from Israel and with our current government's anti- Israel bias/ boycott I am a bit worried that information that used to come our way won't.

Doesn't mean they are not British or that they are asylum seekers. Let's wait for facts.

@Therattt try not to worry about that, the UK works with multiple countries re information. Look at the information sharing on Putin planning a attack on a Nato country soon many different countries intelligence services are involved in that.

Saw an article in the daily mail and the sun earlier. Apparently a lady looked out of her bedroom window and saw the men acting suspiciously around the van. Called the police and the bomb squad were called in.
RAF Fairford is always going to be a target as its a US air base and they are flying planes with heavy weapons from there.
