How much would you be willing to pay?

I wouldn't. There's already a premium option that I don't pay for. I've been here 20 years and I'd stop using it if I had to pay. Mumsnet already get their pound of flesh for selling the content produced here and advertising revenue.

Nope, I'd wean myself off it.

What if there was no free alternative?

No I wouldn't pay for it - probably another free competitor app would launch and would move over to that

Yeah, nope. I’m here far too much, but I’d live without it if it was competing with books, tv, YouTube, audiobooks, podcasts, radio, crocheting, and real life.

If Mumsnet introduced compulsory charging, their page views and their revenue would plummet. They sell their advertising based on page views. It would be completely stupid.

No . I don’t think this could be justified and would expect the site to be managed more tightly if fees were introduced.

No. I wouldn't pay. I'm trying to cut down on our expenses as it is. I probably spend too much time on here as it is so it would be a good reason to stop.

I spend too much time on here. I don't enjoy it except for reading the 'Classics' threads, but I find it compulsive (I still remember the olden days when it was nicer and very funny). So a barrier like that would finally free me!
