Longley Farm Cottage Cheese

Over my many years on here, there have been many threads about the yumminess of Longley Farm cottage cheese. I am a big fan, and fairly local.

Maybe it’s hard to get in some places because the manufacturing place is limited to how much it can churn out (see what I did there?) 😁. Cottage cheese is really popular at the moment but maybe they want to see if demand is sustained before they invest in a new dairy or equipment?

I kept my weight down eating a whole tub of the chive one with charcoal crackers and an avocado regularly for lunch. Lovely way to lose weight!

I discovered it when the shopkeeper ordered more before Christmas, thinking he would sell more with the holiday coming, but didn't. It had quite a quick sell-by date so he offered it free. He got a few new regular purchasers by doing that, including me, but maybe he's cautious now about over-ordering!

Having spoken to them at the annual local agricultural show, they are currently investing in making more cottage cheese because its so popular.

I guess they are ensuring they make an effort to supply the local people at the moment.
