Does anyone else keep a sex diary?

Is it just me that keeps a sex diary?! Not in a written account of the sordid details way, but I'll put a little x on any days DH and I have had sex on my calendar.

I mentioned it to a friend recently and she thought it was really bizarre! I had to admit actually it is a little pointless!

It stemmed from when I was planning my pregnancy many years ago, but I cant seem to shake the habit now and like to keep track still 😂

Does anyone else do this or do I stand alone?!

Yes I do it but only because I need to take antibiotics afterwards to stop getting UTI's 😩

I do this as I’m not on contraception apart from condoms so it’s to keep track and prevent panic if my period is late

I log it in my period tracking app, mostly so that I can check it re possible pregnancy scares!

I’m guessing you struggle when you feel things are out of your control.

I would stop doing it.
Could you start marking it at the end of the week- so you have to think back.
And then at the end of the month - so it’s getting longer between times.

Sort of. As a gift, I gave my husband sex every day for a year, no excuses (except force majuere, illness etc.) after idly picking up a book called ‘Just Do It’, written by a woman who did it.
I make a note of when we do it so he gets the full year, 365 days!
it started out as a joke, but has now become a much needed spicy turn of events, and we sometimes have more than once a day; after 30 odd years together, it has helped keep intimacy alive.

I use to do this on a period calendar app! We did it 28 times in one month when we first got together.....
Now we have a 2yr old ots not worth plotting atm 🤦‍♀️

Yes I print it onto acetate sheets and then dim the lights 😄. Friends say it’s the highlight of their year but my family has been busy for the last few NYEs…

Funnily enough, I'm shagging him again and I do keep a note of when we meet up. But not every time is sex. It is frowned an upon I assume in the nice fancy cafe we meet in sometimes.

If you have sex every day, why do you need to keep a note of when you do it? It’s every day.
