Anyone holding themselves out as patriotic can’t support a party and politicians bought by overseas cash.

Already started.
Reform UK promises £80bn of cuts to public spending - BBC News https://share.google/rs2v1t84FFEPSuUme

Why stop at £80bn?

Have potholes been abandoned?

Notonthestairs · 03/09/2026 21:51

Interesting read Blossom.

There is a lot to be gained by getting in to a party early on and moulding it to your desired policies.
Can’t be done to same extent with the other older parties- they already have internal politics blurring things and governing machinery in place.
But a fresh ltd company unburdened by those structures are ripe for it.

Behind again! Been to Edinburgh to rock with Bon Jovi and 70k others - best night of my decade! Also saw the Tattoo and some Fringe - too much drink and food, too little sleep but so much fun!

Whilst I was away I missed a counter in Doncaster - the non violent ‘we dare for women and kids’ protestors attacked a woman and her daughter - then the Canon - going to his church to harass him and he had to have the police out for his protection - I believe they’ve doxxed him too - but they’re Christians themselves innit!

Also, there’s a charmer of a right wing auditor roundabout who loves interrogating folk and posting angry stuff. Known in Chesterfield for the biggest flag ever on an old council building he owns.
This prince of auditors has anyway got booted out of Restore - I mean my god how bad do you have to be! I will definitely be looking at whatever Re- he joins next with horror!

Latest Farage shenanigans lead story on BBC news with Chris Mason reporting live from the Reform conference

BBC should probably have been on the banned list too Smile

He probably had Chrissy down as a top bloke.

BIossomtoes · 04/09/2026 07:18

It seems that Mason did a very soft interview with Farage. The only journalist who seems to be prepared to be tough with him is Beth Rigby.

BIossomtoes · 04/09/2026 07:59

James Orr and Dan Jukes have “stepped down”. Rumbled.

TemperanceWest · 04/09/2026 08:16

Excellent. None of this will put the core support off, but it might put off the Tories who have drifted to Reform.

Our visitors won't be happy.😁

Stepping down during an ‘internal investigation.
Hilarious.
Farage was present for some of their shenanigans!! He was in on it.

investigation my arse.
It’s all on camera. We see you.

TemperanceWest · 04/09/2026 08:29

I really, really hope that Farage is sweating and this has ruined his conference.

Llttledrummergirl · 04/09/2026 08:32

If Farage had any decency and honesty, they wouldn't have stepped down, they would have been fired.

Clearly, he doesn't mind what they did.

TemperanceWest · 04/09/2026 08:33

It is obviously not the first time they have done this.

Cheguevarahamster · 04/09/2026 08:35

He has just on LBC this morning being interviewed by Nick Ferrari.
Its all "Nothing to see here! - not my fault". I really hope he gets done for this.

Notonthestairs · 04/09/2026 08:37

It makes explains why they used Fiona Cottrell to donate to Reform.
That was Reform’s go-to mechanism for getting otherwise illegal donations through the system. Find a qualifying relative to funnel your money.

Although, in addition, we don’t know where George Cottrell’s money originated from.

Definitely. I wonder if C4 has more material that they couldn't broadcast but that might be useful to the investigations.

Efacsen · 04/09/2026 09:18

Anderson says Farage won't quit over undercover report into donations, and 'country needs him'

OMG these people are delusional

They listed the names of other overseas sponsors that had used an intermediary to send their money to Reform. They can’t pretend they didn’t know - it looks like they instigate it!

Presumably the police can access this information should a criminal investigation begin.
