Oh I can see a lot of it happening pretty easily IF there's a Dem in the WH and is the majority party in Congress. Not overnight, but over a period of time. As we are seeing, a lot can be accomplished in 4 years if a POTUS puts their mind to it. It'll start with renaming things (lakes, gulfs, airports, etc), then removing anything easily painted over or lettering removed; his name on things, tacky decor, plaques denigrating other persons or revising history. Then possibly things that might be more easily changed like the Rose Garden or that helipad he's putting in (what an eyesore!). When it comes to actual buildings, that will be harder due to the expense involved. I think most of them will unfortunately remain, but hopefully be renamed or simply have no name at all (ie 'The WH Ballroom' rather than 'The wonderfully magnificent Trump Ballroom').
It's why he's so busy creating monuments to himself. He wants to 'create' as much as he can whilst he has the chance in the hopes that some things will remain. Especially things that will be large and 'solid' and expensive to tear down.

Personally, I think the Govt should call for volunteers to help in tearing down and removal. I'm sure there are plenty of places where everyday craftspeople could work that wouldn't need some kind of security clearance. And there may be others who do have security clearance who would volunteer. I know I would if I lived in the DC area. I'd be out there with a scrub brush and a bucket or some paint and a brush quicker than you can say knife!
