Record breaking summer? Being oddly specific there with the timeframe Don. Maybe cos the actual records you are setting is a reduction in visitors.

I have no idea where you are getting 290 billion miles from for 3 months.
I downloaded the data in excel format Last 3 months. I am confused.
Month Total estimated millions miles.

I get 862612 million miles total for the last three months. That's 863 billion. Thats a lot more than Trumps claim of "290 billion miles on American highways"
Anyway, even for one month. Not a record. July 2025 was 297 billion. August 2019 was 293 billion.

I can't be arsed with this one to be honest. The record was set in 2024 at 331.86 million for the year, 2025 was 323.01 million No data for this year. Carry on Don.

3 million in a day eh. Impressive. The average in 2024 was 2.4 million per day. So no wonder you are not claiming a record. The record is 2,971,217 (Aug 29, 2025). No data for your 3 million claim.

So, it's been great to watch. We have a lot of very happy construction workers, however. From the historic UFC event on the White House lawn, which was a record in the history of fighting on tele -- there were more viewers on that, watching that than any other fight ever, to an unforgettable race through the streets of Washington, that was Roger Penske's group.

And it was the greatest fireworks display, the largest ever but I thought it was also the greatest that I've ever seen, certainly, and I've seen a lot of them. But we welcomed hundreds of thousands of people to our nation's capital that night -- that that day, that period of time was incredible. July 4th was not to be forgotten by anybody.
Sigh. I think the reason people don't do these loooong displays is because it got real fucking boring really fucking fast.

And I don't know what about the other nine percent. I don't know. I'm trying to figure, why were they unhappy? I'm not sure I like that sentence."
Maybe that 9% think your air control towers are too short.
