The anguish experienced on and after 9/11 for anyone who was affected in any way at all is unimaginable even after 25 years.

DH is from northern NJ and had a couple of very close friends who worked in the WTC. One survived but will never be the person they used to be.

I think it was the Manitoba Premier who said that watching the Lake Ontario renaming was like watching a washed up rock band performing the old hits before a thin Vegas crowd. I think this takes it down to Atlantic City level (at a Trump Casino).

Where unfortunately Scrotus does have the ability to change the names of certain geographical features, he does NOT have the ability to change the name of a state. That power rests with the state itself. But that's not going to stop him from trying if he takes the notion.

Think I'll email Gavin suggesting we need to change the name of our state to CaliFuckoffTrumpia. At least for the time being.
