Which "National Treasure" do you not like so much?

Some of these are not national treasures in the first place. Jonathan Ross for example. Nowhere near a national treasure. Divides opinion too much for that, and has been involved in controversy. Too marmitey-Jeremy Clarksony to be NT level.

I despise Elton John and I don’t even know why.

Not exactly what the thread is asking, but I think Rowan Atkinson is an example of someone who would have gone on to NT status had it not been for behaviour in his personal life. I was sooo disappointed when I found out he’d dumped his wife for a younger woman as I always thought he was so cool and talented, sort of Jennifer Saunders level in my eyes. I was utterly disillusioned. You have to be fairly blemish free to be NT, otherwise he would be. And I don’t really mean Mr Bean, more all the other wonderful stuff he did.

I think 98% of these can be ruled out as national treasures! More like people on the we dislike, due to no talent and over exposure. Definitely fitting into the latter category are:

Elaine Paige, hideous woman with all the allure of a mangy alleycat (pardon the pun!)
Joe Lycett, irritating and too camp.
