I agree with the key players on this thread! Johnathan Ross is tawdry and yuck. Miriam M is ghastly, incredibly smug and vulgar. Alan Cumming is nails dragging across à blackboard, so grating. Paloma Faith is just unbearable. Alan Carr the shrill voiced one …omg no. Stephen Fry creepsville, Sandi Toksvig is the gym mistress you were in dread of. David Tennant looks desperate and haunted, eek. Dawn French, I would cross the road to avoid.

Just so bland... and how does he get to be paid millions (not an exaggeration) to say exactly the same lines on every programme? He can't ad lib a single word. The contestants and chasers are far funnier than he is.

Also, the late unlamented Cilla Black. Apparently she was appallingly rude to airline cabin crew and anyone else whom she deemed beneath her. She was another professional Scouser who apparently had a cut glass RP accent when the cameras weren't rolling. Not that there is anything wrong with that, of course, but the accent was put on to make her seem warm and down to earth, when she was anything but.
