Do you use long voice notes to keep in touch?

Random question! 😂 Do any of you regularly use voice notes to keep in touch with friends or family? I mean proper long ones, not just “I’m running late” type messages 😂. I’m interested in whether other people have the same thing I do where you and a friend can end up sending each other 10–20 minute voice notes because you don’t have time to actually speak on the phone.
If you do, I’d love to know what you like/dislike about it.

But voice notes aren't usually instead of a fucking conversation, they're instead of a text.

Becks people are busy and aligning a free Xm is difficult? Because much like texts sometimes you simply need to impart a piece of information? Because Millenials are weird about phone calls??

Hate them with a passion, especially as there are good enough voice-to-text apps and functions around.

Why should I spend several minutes, rewinding and replaying damned stream of consciousness drivel in order to extract salient points when a text just takes seconds to read?
