I sometimes like a chocolate croissant.

Where did you go to the last time you left your house?

I had a physio appt that went ok, about an hour ago.

On a scale of 1 to 10, with ten being most " green" how good do you think you are, environmentally speaking? Any extra info would be interesting 😊

MudandMoet · 14/08/2026 17:20

about -600 we are beef and arable farmers so solely responsible for ruining the world according to most! We have an anaerobic digestion plant though so that should count for something surely. Other than the farm we do our bit but I’m not obsessive about recycling.

Do you think fireworks should be banned?

For Guy Fawkes Night: I think fireworks should only be at organised displays. There are enough for everyone to attend should they wish to. They should also be limited to take place a few days either side of the date. Gone are my days where I'd burn my fingers on sparklers!

Parties/New Year: I think a small amount is ok. Not a complete kill-joy! 😁

Best meat? 😁

I have some handwritten letters that I will never throw away. The problem with all this sentimental stuff is that someone else will just throw it away!

Do you keep sentimental items/trinkets - or are you able to throw things away?

Im heartless ( think Julia in motherland binning the kids end of year folder/ pics after the forced smiles ) same with old letters / holiday momentos etc
If I lost my engagement ring I would probably claim on the insurance , have a holiday and then wear a cheap fake !
However, my photo albums mean the world to me …

Voice notes or phone calls?

Feelings regarding Crocs ?

All sounds lovely!

I have a pair of garden clogs for hanging the washing out and they’re very similar to crocs! I have no ill feeling towards them, people wear what they want to wear, I try not to judge πŸ˜‚

If you could move abroad, which country would you go to?

Having lived in Isreal, France and Spain, brought kids up there and speaking reasonable Spanish before moving back to the UK, I would honestly never ever live in another country again where my mother tongue (in my case English) was not the first language.
So I guess hypothetically the US /Canada /Australia/NZ (although all too far)
If I had to have second home in another county bit not live there full tine probably Spain x

I have thought about this a lot and I end up in the north of England! An old big house, a long garden full of flowers, a sweeping staircase, stained glass windows overlooking fields of sheep, a horseshoe driveway and a picket fence!

If it HAD to be abroad, I flit between Italy and Fuerteventura.

If you had to move and could only take 3 items with you, what would they be?

Earliest memory

MudandMoet · 15/08/2026 21:09

I remember eating some rice paper off a birthday cake when I was about 5 (?) and my older brother kept laughing but telling me I was going to have to go to hospital and I’d probably die and I was really really hysterical and crying so much. I think that’s my first memory.
