Yessss! Something inside so strong by Labi Siffre gets me every single time, this and many others (also choir songs make me choke up!)

Carrying on the theme, do you cry at films?

I mainly cry at songs but yes a few get me: It's a Wonderful Life, Brief Encounter, Castaway, Noel (starring Robin Williams), Awakenings (starring Robin Williams again) and 50 First Dates (at the end). More than I thought - and they are off the top of my head! 😂 I remember being traumatised by E.T. too! 😂

24 - had baby at 23 so needed to crack on and tie the knot as first DH was Spanish so no mucking about with the old baby out of wedlock malarkey in 1990’s Caceres!

Crikey I couldn’t get into my first wedding dress now -I was 9 stone with a C cup and I’m 12 stone now with GG knockers lol, it’s upstairs in the airing cupboard
It was a perfectly nice ivory classic dress to be fair , I bought it in a wedding shop sale , first one I tried on at the price I could afford which was £250. Puffy meringue was the thing then but this was slimline with a fitted body so has aged well. I was t overly fussed -had a newborn to think about and money was tight

Second wedding - a bottle green fitted slash neck dress from Monsoon with leopard print Kat Slater ankle boots and bag. Beehive hair and red lipstick -again bit of a rush job , had a day to go shopping -bought it by 11 so rest of day spent in all-bar-one and spoons lol

I used to love a Dark chocolate Bounty - they discontinued it! Same goes for a Cadbury Fuse bar. I was not happy! 😂

History. I love learning about the past and interesting people.

Photography. I got a very good grade and won awards too. It's something I planned to get back into as a hobbie but life had a different plan for me 😁 Maybe one day!

Favourite school memory?

PE because my teacher was veh veh nice I was good at it

Do you think being able to read people’s minds would be a blessing or a curse?

The day I left school -half way through my first year A’levels. Went to stay with a friend in London and never looked back.
Years later did A levels properly and history degree and a criminology masters
I hated school though - no idea why as had friends and was fairly bright and was much easier than working full time at that age! But hate it I did and the feeling of leaving was best ever !

one possession you would never part with ?

Hmmm. My History teacher was very very nice a great role model too. I bumped into him one day in town and he remembered my name from many years back. He was laughing as I was flustered that he remembered my name! I 'lost it' when he told me his first name 😂 The conversation became a bit awkward as he was asking me lots of questions. I turned my head as I was walking away as I wondered who he was waiting for; and he was watching me walk away. I cringe about that now! 🫣

Anyway! to answer your question!!! I would love to be able to read minds! There would no messing about!

Are you still in contact with anyone from school?

I have some handwritten letters that I will never throw away. The problem with all this sentimental stuff is that someone else will just throw it away!

Do you keep sentimental items/trinkets - or are you able to throw things away?

Depends what it is.
