Crikey loads of times when I was bladdered or high in my late teens/early 20s - some of them brilliant and some well dodgy (ah..I actually miss the early 90s where we owned fucking about and finding out the hard way..! )

β€˜Pro choice’ or β€˜Pro life’ so-called ?

Pro-Choice - so many variables and I don't believe in forcing people to do anything. There's a clinic that I drive past and there are always people with placards outside it and people have to walk past them to access the clinic.

What's currently in your work bag/personal bag?

Scum bags - if someone doesn’t believe in abortion- simple β€˜ don’t YOU have one’
harassing people outside a clinic is terrorisn in my view

Currently - I’m on hols - so sunscreen, vape, wipes, hand sanitizer, power bank and cable, insect spray, a snorkel mask, lipstick, lip balm, eyelash brush, moisturiser and crossword n pen. And usually my husband’s wallet as he never has a bag when away.

Crush you have you would be embarrassed to admit to in public ?

Being a good friend and listener - and always having someone's back.

Last time someone/something took your breath away?

What did a sick day off school look like when you were at home poorly ?

I have been told that I’m kind.

What are you most looking forward to in the week ahead?

Getting home after a long flight and eating sausage n mash with onion gravey

what are you dreading in the coming week? X

I'm not shy at admitting things generally so when I say I like the 2005 face of Simon Cowell I mean it! πŸ˜‹ He's a hottie πŸ˜‚

Also had fleeting fancies for Robbie Coltrane in Cracker TV series 😬, Hugh Grant (I still would. I love his voice!) and the character of Joey in Friends. I'll think of more!

Back at you for that one!?

Onion, but I can't eat enough of it! πŸ˜‹

Were you a geek at school or in the 'in' crowd?

I was in the β€˜in crowd’ but still got in the top sets and was a prefect. I had no idea what the prefect duties were. I just wore the badge πŸ€¦πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

Do you worry more about getting cancer or dementia?

I thought my taste in men was eclectic! πŸ˜‚
when I was young it was Marti Pellow- I once slept with a bloke who looked very much like him. In his car and it was shit! My biggest crush right now would be Dec from Ant and Dec. He seems a very funny chap irl and I love men that can make me laugh out loud.

What was the last thing you used AI for?

MudandMoet · 16/09/2026 20:50

What did a sick day off school look like when you were at home poorly ?

I was a sickly child so I was off school a lot. Rarely sick as an adult 🀷 The day would be spent on the sofa with a blanket and pillow from my bed. I would watch daytime TV and nap when I wanted. My Mum would make me chicken soup and make me drink Lucozade! The afternoon was spent watching Australian soaps! Then everyone else would return home and I would retreat to my bedroom listening to music.

Ever lost something and never found it?

I think someone asked me where in Malta I’m going to. I wasn’t sure, as DS booked it, but have asked him & it’s Rabat.

Dreading a team away day that's fast approaching. I'm not a lover of team building exercises as historically in my experience they have the opposite effect. I don't need to build a raft that will likely sink, climb a wall or do archery.

What crime might you commit in another lifetime!?

I’m always losing jackets, cardigans, hoodies etc. I take them off when I warm up, put them on the back of my chair & then waltz off without them. Very rarely ever find them.

which football team do you support & why?

πŸ˜‚ I was a 'Prefect' but we didn't do anything other than wear the badge. I even got promoted to 'Senior Prefect'. No idea why. No-one said a word to me, the first I knew about it was when it was announced in assembly.

I'm more concerned about dementia but will I know? Having 'frequented' many care homes in the last 15 years, that scares me even more! One of the first care homes I went to, you had to sign out and wait on some seats in the hall for a member of staff to let you out of the door. There was a lovely old guy sitting there, dressed really well with a hat, overcoat and walking stick. I remember our first conversation vividly, thinking what a happy chap he is. I thought he was visiting someone.... but no.... he was a resident and spent his days sitting there in the hope of getting outside πŸ˜” I always used to try and have a good conversation with him each time I was there after that. He nearly got out once as a new member of staff didn't know!

Pet hates that you see day-to-day?
(Someone in my team at work opens their crisp bag at the bottom most of the time...grr... πŸ˜‚)

Ah that old chap πŸ₯Ή It’s lovely you took time to chat with him.

Im not sure it’s a pet hate but when you’re driving behind someone who has their rear windscreen wiper going when it’s not raining! Really really winds me up (unnecessarily!)

Also, when you’re having a conversation and you’re talking but the other person constantly butts in. Drives me batshit.

Another driving one … when people don’t say thanks (put their hand up) when you’ve waited and let them through. So rude! I’ll stop here because I can think of loads more 😬

TV series or film you wish they’d do a sequel for?

Each to their own. I'd rather jump into a vat of hot oil than touch either of them. I know people swoon over Paul's eyes - but no. Just no.

You won't like this 'joke' and neither should I really but it was once said to me and always makes me giggle for the wrong reasons....

"I had to visit the trauma unit last weekend. They prefer the term 'Mum and Dad' though".

(You can roll your eyes now!) πŸ™„

I sleep in my make up far too much. I only use miscellar wipes to take it off and don’t do a routine anyway but even that is just too much most nights! Then I do really regret it the next morning when I have to get up and take it off to put it straight back on again!

Has MN had an update today as I’ve loads of emojis now under where I type?

No change on mine. Have you clicked the emoji face again to see if they disappear?

Name a person you'd like to interview - dead or alive?

Favourite joke ever heard ?

A nun is taking a bath when she hears a knock on the bathroom door.
She calls out, "Who is it?"
A voice replies, "It's the blind man.”
The nun thinks about it for a moment and decides that since he is blind, there is no harm in letting him in. She tells him to come in.
The man opens the door, walks in, and says, "Nice tits, where do you want me to hang the blinds?"

First heard it when I was about 15 and still
makes me smile.

Most embarrassing moment of your life?

MudandMoet · 17/09/2026 21:38

Ive seen Hugh Jackman being interviewed by Alison Hammond a few times and it cracks me up how absolutely funny and down to earth he is, he seems game for anything so I’d pick him.

Are you a hat person?
(I am. I have loads, all different styles!) My best friend would never in a million years wear any form of hat!

SaraHoliday · 17/09/2026 21:43

My Husband was driving. It was dark and raining. Husband parked up in a space on a shop carpark. I ran inside the shop. Bought whatever. Jumped back into the car, only to realise it wasn't our car! Husband had moved our car to closer to the shop door due to the rain! In my defence it was the same car but a slightly different colour. The bemused man inside the other car was also waiting for his wife who was running back to the car as I was getting out! 🫣 I wondered how he would explain it. Finally got back to my Husband who was sitting in our car laughing as he'd seen it all unfold! πŸ˜‚

Back at you!?
