How much have you spent this weekend, and what on?

Just curious… nosey even. I usually spend quite a bit every weekend, soft play, farm, a birthday party, petrol, seaside day out, or dinner or lunch etc etc.

How much have you spent this weekend; and on what? A big food shop maybe?

Also curious if you are a family or not as that can make a difference.

86 in Waitrose for groceries
16 in theatre for 2 glasses wine
11 as above for 2 ice creams
80 petrol on way home
5.70 sweets for journey

Spent probably £150 for an evening at the cricket T20 blast on Friday evening but that's including match tickets brought in advance a few months ago.

Saturday we went down the beach £20.

Today petrol to drive to mum's but again that petrol money was spent the week before last.

Oh and top up grocery shop Saturday evening £25.

Congratulations! We live by the sea in Scotland so very used to offers over, it’s a PITA!

We went to a petting zoo and parks with DD but they’re all free. We had drinks in the garden with friends, but we already had those in the fridge.

DP spent a bit more as he went to the pub for a couple before the football.

@tinyspiny Is £300 a pretty regular price for 2 weeks livery? DS GF Mum owns and runs a livery yard. Has around 35 horses.

@sumesest We did thanks, off to the outskirts of a cathedral city today for 3 nights for museums and then off to the races a further couple of hours away for a couple of nights.

there seems to be something every week!

Only thing we spent money on was our Tesco delivery, which came this morning, which was £110 (family of 4 for about 4 days, plus party food). I’ll do another shop probably Tuesday/Wednesday.

Otherwise, we’ve hung out at home, taken a walk in a local wood, tidied the house and garden (ds8 has his birthday party tomorrow), I baked a cake and cupcakes for the party. Dc all currently outside playing with neighbours who have come over after dinner.

Tomorrow, we have the party which is midday, then might go for a walk and/or a wild swim, then having a BBQ. Won’t actually spend any money tomorrow either. We don’t tend to do a lot of paid days out, sometimes have to pay for parking, but that’s it.
