How much have you spent this weekend, and what on?

Just curious… nosey even. I usually spend quite a bit every weekend, soft play, farm, a birthday party, petrol, seaside day out, or dinner or lunch etc etc.

How much have you spent this weekend; and on what? A big food shop maybe?

Also curious if you are a family or not as that can make a difference.

A lot more than usual as I’ve been away with a group of girl friends for a birthday. So Italian meal, air bnb, taxis, snacks, a serious amount of wine and prosecco… I don’t really want to work it out, lol

Nothing yesterday.
Today £136 on groceries for the week for three adults, and two coffees for about £7.

£8.95 takeaway Friday night. Not a usual but I was zonked from the week. I also had a £10 off voucher so it felt like a bargain.
£2.50 parking for DS to go to a birthday party.
£2 on 3 drinks in poundland. We walked down to town but i forgot to bring water.

We're a family of 3, me and two smalls (ish). I try and keep things as low spend as possible.

£13.50 yesterday on a large wine, pint, chilli peanuts and a tub of ice cream, while we relaxed in a beer garden.

£22 today in Tesco on some Prosecco, French stick, deodorant and ham.

£2.50 today on a ice cream for DS in the park

£60 on Sainsbury's shopping.
It'll last a couple of weeks.

went to an attraction yesterday as well but was free to enter

today had a paddling pool day and bbq with friends, spent about £30 on bbq food

Today - sushi lunch $26 (about £13) for a box of salmon sushi, a box of vegetable inari, a salmon avocado roll and tuna avocado roll. $36.00 (£18-ish) on 2 coffees, 2 almond croissants, 1 hot chocolate. $76.00 (£36) on two cinema tickets, one bottled water and 1 large wine. $29.00 (£15-ish) on rib necked navy blue top. $107 (£55-ish) at Aldi on 2 pizzas, 5 bottles wine, 3 packs biscuits, salad vegetables, yoghurts, nescfe coffee, potatos, carrots, 12 eggs, bread, milk, ice cream, shampoo and various store cupboard essentials.

Oh- and $18.00 (£9) on a sim card that gives me 28 days of unlimited Australian calls and texts, unlimited UK texts and 500 minutes of phone calls to the UK.

Friday - around £24 on the ingredients for Aperol spritz’s
Sat - £20 on cleaning stuff, anti bacterial wipes, dyrolite, boiled sweets and still lucozade - dd3 works in a nursery and came home with a tummy bug!

If you count Friday evening, £110 on DS birthday meal.

Saturday £40 electric (on a payg meter).
£3.50 for a slushy for me as I was hot going to the shop for electric. Bit shocked at the cost of that tbh!

Sunday nothing. I have 2 adult DC. So mostly just my costs.

Friday night £30ish on a couple of drinks at the pub.
Saturday £45 on a present for my niece, £10 for beers to take to my sisters, £60 on some steak for dinner.
Sunday £170 food shop was delivered, £45 in M&S for bits I’d forgotten on the shop and £150 on some clothes. £80 on petrol. £20 to load up ds lunch account for this week. £30 sponsorship for an activity he did last week.

dh paid for lunch out today and he bought ds some summer clothes (£??) and gave dc1 £200 to take on her holiday this week (well however many euros that bought).

also I did a reformer class yesterday morning but because I pay a monthly membership I technically count it as free 😂 same with my swim this morning, book and pay for 10 at a time so feels free!

Anyway cba to add up what I spent this weekend but felt like quite an average weekend for us.

I didn’t spend it this weekend but it arrived yesterday: £30 on a portable fan with plug. Surprisingly hard to come by (they all seem to have usb charging cables). Nothing else.

£50 in Sephora - Just opened so we popped in🙄
£38 in Tesco - on snacks

Saturday: £35 on our contribution to a BBQ with friends. £45 on drinks in the pub while watching the football.

Today: DH spent £18.50 on a round of drinks while playing darts with 2 friends.
89p on some mayonnaise 🤣.

Quiet weekend here.

Husband treated the kids to lunch at a food fair - £70 (that was a treat as 2 of them have been away this last week).
£20 given to eldest for prom spending money or cab home.
(Add in sunken costs - £30 for prom ticket, £40 violin lesson, £10 coach to a music concert, daughter returned from a school residential £200, petrol to run around after the kids and to get to the waitressing £15., £50 for shopping for tea today and lunch yesterday......etc etc)

Expensive weekend but had a bloody great time!) Dont see family enough as 2 hours from them so wheb we do see them we tend to splurge. Now need to not spend until i get paid as I am perilously close to overdraft.

Oh, and I just remembered the sundress, a fan, and an online food shop. Shit, it was an expensive weekend, lol

I started this weekend having no money but made £10 selling games and £10 selling Lego.

Appropriately £200 because I have realised that due to a good year at the gym a lot of my holiday clothes are now way too big! So expensive but pleasing!
