How much have you spent this weekend, and what on?

Just curious… nosey even. I usually spend quite a bit every weekend, soft play, farm, a birthday party, petrol, seaside day out, or dinner or lunch etc etc.

How much have you spent this weekend; and on what? A big food shop maybe?

Also curious if you are a family or not as that can make a difference.

DH and I .
£10 on a Tesco top up shop
£3 sweets for children attending church
£5 for church collection
£13 for 2 train tickets (will get half refunded)
£17 cinema tickets for next weekend
£44 to visit an historic building in a few weeks.

£27.35 in tesco
£28.50 in m and s
£4.75 in morrisons

i have about three meals worth of food there 😂

also £4.88 in McDonald’s and £5 on the bus fare

£890, deposits for two cruises, in 2028 and 2029.

Depends on when the weekend starts???

Friday: £4.50 soft drinks for me and DS, £7.70 2 meal deals for lunch, another round of drinks, then about £20 for burger king for tea. Got home at 9pm, and felt crap as had eaten poorly, walked too far in the heat, and driven 200 miles.
Sat: £27 for activity for DS1, DS2 and DS1's gf.
Sun: £140 in tesco and £46 in petrol.

Not a lot.

£34 on train fare to work (in another city.)
£12 approx on drinks at lunchtime.
But the city I am working in has the best shops so I might catch up next week.

Friday around £200 for me and DD on food, merch and travel to a concert (ticket price not included as bought that last year)

Saturday £45 on an Indian take away for me DP & teen DD

Today £10 in M&S for bits for dinner, £10 on Vinted

Technically I had a long weekend and also spent £40 at a concert (0% beer, water, a disgusting hotdog).

Ask for a filter coffee. 99p most places.

I have the Pret subscription. £5 a month and all hot (or iced equivalent) are half price!

A moment of silence for the one that was £20 a month and you got 5 drinks free a day! That was excellent

It's been a quiet weekend.

I’ve spent a fortune this weekend.
£250 on son’s birthday presents.
£150 on games and party bag stuff.
£100 on a shopping delivery.
£52 in Asda (two dresses, some plates and cups and sweets for the party).
No wonder we’re always broke!

I forgot the £60 spent on diesel 😭

Add another £200 for annual car tax.

Probably about £300 but we’ve been away since Friday and that includes the campsite costs for 4 people so not too bad at all really.

@RoseOliviaAu can I be nosey and ask what certificate you got from Guinness world records? Also, it’s abit rubbish you have to pay for your own certificate, you would think they send it for free!

Free parking, and dh got in free as my carer so the ticket was £11 then coffees and one cake another £11. Scotland so things are usually a bit cheaper up here!

Not this weekend as recovering from spending too much at the Metallica gigs last weekend. Around £400 😮 Oh well. You can't take it with you 😮🙄🤣

£44 x2 nights on a campsite
It’s in the middle of nowhere, we walked to a nature reserve for a look about and have eaten on our van. Had a day reading, doing crosswords and watching a film today.

Nothing. Did the shop on Thursday and £60 and spent nothing since. Had a nice quiet weekend at home and spent nothing, it was great .

Sat - 25 on snacks, fruit and packed lunch stuff in Tesco
Today- 150 birthday meal for eldest dd
20 on foundation that a facebook ad made me buy 🫣
12 on a steam hair brush that facebook ad also made me buy. Reduced from 50 quid allegedly so will most likely be made of cardboard or not turn up.
There's me, dh , 1 tween and 1 teen

My god some of you lot waste a shit ton of money which is fine if you can afford it but i hope you're also not the same people moaning you have no money and how you work full time but can't afford a holiday.
