I wonder how many of the 21,225 who were directed to the "Farage" box (luckily they also use pictures) will feel more in tune with the much less discreet racism of Restore or Reclaim ?

And will they cause the redistribution of whoever does turn up to vote to fail to return Farage ?

We still aren't clear of some "incident" that may cause Dear Leader to abandon the field and make the result meaningless. Remember that getting your name on the ballot and then remembering you didn't really mean to stand is a standard Reform tactic,

I said on one of those threads that these exemptions have been in place since 1999. So why is the Telegraph getting so outraged now?

Well in 1999 the Telegraph was a good deal more reputable than it is now. I grew up reading it and aside from the occasional batshit Op ed it reported actual news rather than vibes and crap lifted from “think tanks”.

I saw this float by on a more grown up forum I use.

Given that there are a record 34 candidates standing in the upcoming Clacton by-election it seems perfectly possible that every candidate could receive fewer than 5% of the vote and thereby lose their deposit.

Now obviously the five mill shill won't notice the loss. However, being "the man of the people" on <5% of the vote share does rather open the door for permanent questioning of his legitimacy. Especially as Reform are the party of democracy.
