Jenrick and wife are both solicitors and should be familiar with money laundering checks (not suggesting this is money laundering, just that checking financial trail would be a priority). Am amazed they thought this would go unnoticed.

I need to have a listen to Burnham’s speech. I don’t trust him - and I know he’s not particularly left wing so the stuff people have reported on this thread just doesn’t ring true for me. We’ll see I expect. I hope I’m wrong.
Absolutely knackered. Got back at lunch time with Samson then has a quick nap and a microwave meal before heading out to sing at a Harmony in Farming conference outside Lampeter (way outside). Back now but off to London to see Leslie Odom Jr in Hamilton tomorrow. I need a rest.

Luke Charters on newsnight is bloody awful. He talked about listening, then failed to listen. He had clearly come with an agenda to big up Burnham, but failed to answer the questions asked due to his pre planned soundbites.

If Burnham is as goid as they seem to think, then there is no need to push his ideologies, they will speak for themselves. Having another government that insist they are right without answering questions asked throws me right back into the tory era.

I still have concerns.

I liked Burnham’s speech yesterday. It was very much tailored to the audience of Labour stalwarts. The tribute to Blunkett, Beckett and Kinnock was moving and generous. All very heartwarming but just vibes. I want him to get down to brass tacks on Monday with a clear vision of his plan for the next three years and the policies to make people’s lives better.

Really is made me tired reading it enjoy the show, temperatures today much more comfortable in London.
i caught up with Burnham speech it was good Yy Blunkett, Beckett & Kinnock was good to see them be interesting to see if he is good as he thinks he is, I hope so & he does have policies that will improve people’s lives.
