Andy Burnham is about to give his first speech as party leader

One possible future for a Farage-less Reform is a merger with the Tories.

Went from Galway to the Greater London Council's (GLC) farewell party and free festival on the South Bank, which marked the abolition of the council, that took place on March 31, 1986.

It was a fantastic day with my family and we sisters posed outside Tooting Broadway, fags in mouth and arm in the air! No idea where that picture went.

Met up somehow with brother and sister in law amongst the throngs later. It was a warm day as well.

Catherine West. She was the MP who tried to run against Keir Starmer a while back. Someone nominated her. Andy Burnham quipped that he didn’t need to commiserate with her as she backed him too!

Listening to his speech, I think he's coming over very well - he sounds like a lefty to me. 😀
