Turns out they are a massive bigot, racist and extreme right wing and they don't care.

They liked and loved posts of mine on the world cup thread. Yet, were open a to me about their bigotry and racism. "Sub human species" to describe someone is just awful 😞

To be fair, quite a lot of racists came out to play in plain sight on your World Cup thread once England lost, which was pretty sad to see, but not unsurprising. Many familiar user names.

It was the usual pattern of a disruptor with an avalanche of posts. The thread remained fun and supportive and very fast moving.

Yes, I shouldn't give them headspace as nastiness drips from their pores.

I think there is quite a bit of panic from the Reform quarters regarding the £5 bung.

Which interestingly hasn’t prompted any thoughts about corruption/politicians being bought to change legislation to their buyers favour, just more aggressive posting.

Just adding my solidarity placemats. I know that poster too and have crossed swords I think. Not worth it. I almost feel sorry for people who are so bitter. They can't be happy.

Interesting take from Dan Neidle

In May we said Nigel Farage probably didn't owe tax on his £5m gift.

The Guardian now reports the gift followed talks where Farage said he'd need £5m to return to frontline politics.

If that's right, we think there's a high risk of a £3m tax bill - payable by Reform.

Excellent timing. The deadline for nominations for the Clacton by-election is 4pm today.

So he needed a million a year to replace lost earnings and there was no mention of security costs in the talks?

That rather blows up his arguments.
