I have a lot of time for all the unpaid carers in Britain.
Happened see a clip of Rory Stewart making the point that Christopher Harborne must be incandescent with rage (or, in MN parlance "fuming"). He gives £10,000,000 to Reform and the £5,000,000 extra to Farage so that Farage can devote himself to becoming Prime Minister with needing to grub for money.
The irony being that grifter Farage could not help himself and had to carry on with his sordid little side hustles, which are now sinking Project Farage.
And weirdly, charismatic far right demagogues aren't exactly ten a penny in the UK. Farage being an exception that proves a rule.
I still can't see Farage withdrawing. But if he does, you can bet the narrative will be how he has been prevented somehow, with no actual detail.
And if he does withdraw, no media outlet will make the point it's because no one has bunged him £5,000,000 this time.
E2A: If Farage does pull out, it rather underscores his lack of faith in his own base. Or maybe he knows too well how iconoclasm can turn out.
