From Politico: "Members of the House of Lords will be required to show up more often and retire at 80 under new proposals put forward by a cross-party committee...with a 20 percent minimum sitting days attendance requirement per session." Could be a quick Lords reform win for Burnham...

20% seems pretty low.

I really glad the Hillsborough law has finally passed I hope it gives some peace to all of those affected.

At times you would think it was my DM who was the whippersnapper rather than me.🤣 Actually in a real way she is, as my aunt will be turning 100 next January.

I first realised I had passed out of the whippersnapper stage with the advent of Covid, where suddenly just because of my age I was deemed vulnerable.

Starmer's last PMQs today. Will Badenoch find it in her heart to be gracious?

I’d be amazed if she did, hope I’m wrong though.

I think that today of all days they should all be nice to each other. A united front against political violence would be good.

It's tradition not to attack an outgoing PM but doubt Badenoch will respect that with her lack of self-awareness and desperate need to be noticed

Yusuf is giving a press conference where he is complaining about the rhetoric used against Reform whilst defending calling the Tories 'traitors'

I bet his Vietnamese(?) born sister has more to fear, simply for being the "wrong" colour for some people.

No hint of recognition of the rhetoric Reform and Farage have been using for years.

After Zia Yusuf accuses critics of endangering Reform politicians with violent language, he is read a list of quotes where he called Reform's opponents "lunatics who deserve extinction", "sick arsonists" and "traitors" who will face a "reckoning".

He says these are in "a totally different category"

At the same time Useless said all MPs will get round the clock protection under a Reform led Government.

He really is an awful man.

Of course no one in the media is challenging these creeps. You don't need "AI" to provide reams of examples. The only snag is rather than challenge it at the time Starmer and co pretty much agreed.
