The Tories have started a petition 'Stop Ed Miiliband" Confused

https://bsky.app/profile/joshgabbatiss.bsky.social/post/3mpntrsgedc27
As the Conservatives post this, it's worth knowing that right-wing newspapers have printed 230 editorials criticising Ed Miliband since Labour won the election in 2024.

I am amazed this is even allowed.

Why do they hate Ed so much?

Follow the fossil fuel money

Why do they hate Ed so much?

Because he delivers.

Check out GB Energy.

Given the domestic violence stats when England play, I’m not sure letting them all drink through the night in similar company is the best idea…

Isn't the Reform policy that a little bit of domestic violence is a small price to pay for their being elected ?

That's what an LLM agent said when it was fed with 2 weeks worth of news stories.

Or is more training needed ?

I think Sarah Pochin blamed the players and said they must win to keep the violence down. Though it goes up either way, just by less if they win. Maybe we should just ban them from playing.

Someone really has it in for Reform. Ever since Restore became "a thing".

I can only guess that seeing the grift that can be made from the politics of hate, everybody now wants a piece of the action. It's like "AI". FOMO.

Is there room for another "Re-" themed political party ?

Renew ?
Rebalance ?
Replay ?

I'm going with 'Regurgitate'.

cardibach · 02/07/2026 18:47

Reanimate?

DuncinToffee · 02/07/2026 18:56

No, not happening. Silly me.

Sim not accustomed to feeling sympathy for Sarah Pochin but this is a tough watch. Good answer from Starmer too. https://www.threads.com/@hayleycxx/post/DaS1GciFHn?xmt=AQG0Fdn-Y8OwTbqEwFxc6rrF7DP6f5Z9ktwDf4XfrDBhUf4T-SW7sxdRRMHdOQwV6CPNXXSJ&slof=1

I could open your link, @cardibach - agree with everything you said.

I'd add more but today's combination if sun and wind has left me done for. Too much flickering.

It is a tough watch, I feel really sorry for her. A really sympathetic answer from Starmer.
