The message is so clearly racist and frankly out of touch that I can only assume Goodwin is lashing out because he isn’t getting the attention he thinks he deserves, whether that’s from Farage or Twitter.

Mayors don’t run cities.

They do in some cities and towns.

But this is a LORD Mayor- ceremonial. Goodwin knows that and also knows his followers may not.

i looked it up. Bristol’s Lord Mayor has to be a serving councillor and is elected by the council.
