It's too hot for clothes- what are you wearing?

So what do you wear to try and keep cool in this weather? On Tuesday we went out to an evening rugby game so I wore shorts, a vest and flip flops. Yesterday though I didn't go out i again wore shorts and a vest. Not leaving the house today, I couldn't face clothes so after my nice cool shower I just put on clean pyjamas. Worried about tomorrow as we are doing a 5 hour drive up to Scotland.

15 year old daughter opened door to amazon delivery yesterday. Was something that needed a 16 + year old to accept. It led to weird convo as she tried to explain her mum was in next room but couldn't come to door as was currently lying in her underwear on sofa under a fan.

I live in France, it was over 40 degrees yesterday and high 30s last night. I'm usually a pyjamas girl but it was so hot last night that I closed the shutters in my apartment, left the windows open and only slept in a pair of pants. This morning I was shuffling around just in my pants. I forgot I was basically naked and when the cleaner for the building knocked on my door I opened it to her giving her an eyeful of me in all my glory. Once I got over my shock I dressed in shorts and a loose fitting swingy top thing which meant I didn't have to wear a bra underneath.

I can’t bear anything around my waist when it’s hot so shorts are no good. I’m in an old cotton strappy dress with the loosest knickers I possess. Popped a bra on to take the dogs out this morning but whipped it off as soon as I was home.

I’m retired and live alone, nobody can see in my windows nor much of the garden, so I’m often uncovered, with a beach dress by the door to pop on I’d the postman knocks.

Summer dresses are the coolest for me.

Bra, pants, leopard print strappy long length wrap dress and black single strap Birkenstocks- I had to go and have some photos taken earlier - I’ve been too hot to take these clothes off !

I’ve got two shorts playsuits which look smartish on the top for teams calls. I couldn’t bear putting on a bra so just make sure my camera is at the right angle!

After work I’ve been for a walk in the woods so very thin shorts from next (cotton, so light) and a vest top.

On the plus side I put on my coolest clothes to wash at 3, and they are dried and ready to go now (no dryer, just hot outside!)

I'm waddling around in my nightie and no undies......as is my OH. He looks like a toilet training toddler in an ancient Simpsons nightie of mine🤣🤣🤣🤣 Everyone so often he stands by the fan to waft some air at his nuts and mutters how freeing it is🤣🤣🤣

I wear vintage bloomers, Edwardian, fine cotton lawn. Like shorts, not skimpy, but so smooth and soft. With a huge white linen shirt. If have to go out, thin, light dress and enormous straw hat......the kind that needs planning permission.

Definitely no underwear, whatever else I'm wearing.

I’ve been doing this for years! 😄. Mines an old thin jersey skirt with a tie waist so I can tie it over my boobs and I’m covered but it’s all nice and wafty!

I never do wear anything in bed. During the day yesterday it was a long sun dress. Nothing else! I propose similar today.

Ive been off work so spent the last couple of days at home in an oversized t-shirt and underwear - i wear womens boxer shorts that come down to about mid thigh, so essentially shorts but the material is so much more breathable than actual shorts.

All fine until you forget to put actual clothes on to do the school run ☠️
