It's too hot for clothes- what are you wearing?

So what do you wear to try and keep cool in this weather? On Tuesday we went out to an evening rugby game so I wore shorts, a vest and flip flops. Yesterday though I didn't go out i again wore shorts and a vest. Not leaving the house today, I couldn't face clothes so after my nice cool shower I just put on clean pyjamas. Worried about tomorrow as we are doing a 5 hour drive up to Scotland.

Pair of thin black cotton shorts, thin white cotton t-shirt with a raven on it! Black sandals.

Ballgown, tiara & fur coat, of course. Standards have to be maintained, after all.

Vest top & shorts, actually.

I havent been out today am wearing pants and a vest top.

I'm currently in my husband's boxers and a sports bra. He did raise an eyebrow but I pointed out the boxers cover more than those nike shorts teens wear!

Cut offs, a t shirt and no bra.

Floaty sleeveless cotton dress, flip flops and no drawers.

It’s 30 just now in Scotland, but I think it’s to be thunder tomorrow…(though it did initially say that about today). I’ve been working and had a few deliveries today so I’m in shorts and 90s style high neck vest top. I’m in a sports bra and couldn’t imagine anything worse than wearing a real bra in this but tbh a sports bra is my go to regardless of the weather

I am wearing a loose linen sleeveless jumpsuit that I bought from Cos in the 2022 heatwave. It’s got baggy ankle length legs and a low cut back. I look like a toddler in it but it’s cool and comfortable. I’d prefer to go without a bra but my auld tits swing around and I don’t feel presentable without one.

I’ve also got a linen PJ set from Piglet in Bed which is fine for pottering at home.

Shorts and vests or loose blouses.

I failed. Thick NHS scrubs in a hot clinic. Home to a cold shower, currently in shorts and a vest. Bra MIA!

I caved. I had to get dressed. Husband wanted to go to home bargains for and cool bag. He has favourite butcher in Scotland as at it is hot and we are not back till Saturday arvo. I only own 3 pair of shorts and my other two cooler pairs were both in the wash ready for tomorrow so I'm now wearing denim shorts and a white tshirt with navy stripes and flamingos on.

A loose cotton knee length dress. Its sort of A-Line so nice and airy.

V thin cotton trousers and a sleeveless linen/cotton blouse. Bare feet, hair pinned up. Been collapsed on the sofa since about 3.30 since I got home from work.

Short and thin vest top. No footwear, even the birkenstocks would be too much.

Sleeveless t-shirt nightie, no underwear. I'm a bit annoyed at having to put proper clothes on to walk the dog but then he's wearing a fur coat and isn't too happy either.

Some floppy thin shorts and an oversized thin tshirt. Look a bit of a mess, but I don’t really care!

Loose cotton sundress in the house with knickers but no bra! When I had to go out, I reluctantly put on a bra 😂

Linen-cotton blend dress for work, viscose dress or nothing/knicker at home.

I have a strapless blue sundress that I bought from Primark about 15 years ago probably for about £3 but it is sooooo comfy in the heat and great for sunbathing in the garden too.

I will open the door in it but that's all I won't go to the shop in it but it's my go to in hot weather.

I haven't found anything that does the job better on a hot sticky day in all these years.

I'm wearing knickers. If I wasn't on my period I wouldn't be wearing anything!

Nothing at all. Will put on pj shorts and a vest if I need to leave the room.

I am still wearing light cotton pyjama bottoms with a camisole to bed as otherwise I wake up at 3am in a sweat, sticking to the sheets.
