Happy Birthday @Llttledrummergirls
Hope it's refreshing in every way!

Bit of thunder and rain in early hours of the morning here - SW London. Today still due to rise back up to 30+C 😫

BIWI · 27/06/2026 09:30

Also SW London - thermometer in my kitchen currently showing 26.4!

DuncinToffee · 27/06/2026 09:45

Surrey/Hamp borders, 26ºC and rising

Piggywaspushed · 27/06/2026 09:49

30 in my kitchen!

placemats · 27/06/2026 09:56

It's still 26C in the house but a lovely 22C outside. Some unusual cloud formations passing overhead.

It’s much cooler here in S. Wales, 21 degrees but inside the house feels much warmer. I guess all the carpets and soft furnishings have absorbed the heat. DH insisted on having all the blinds open during the peak of the heat as he found having them closed made him feel very isolated - a bit like lockdown he said.

Happy birthday @Llttledrummergirls

In terms of something Burnham could do that would be immediate, popular and visible ...

deal with Trump properly. If nothing else, force Farage and his elk into some uncomfortable positions.

It's a zero jeopardy strategy, because we now know that there is no "right" side of Trump.

Every encounter with Trump is a "deal", not an investment. We know this because Trump allowed a book with his name on it to explain it.

Bless Starmer, he tried to invest. But the bank went bust.

Much cooler in Brum today. Overcast too.

Donald Trump man on the right — dark suit, crisp white shirt, bold red tie — leans in with intent, his posture angled toward Italian PM Meloni. His expression is focused, almost as if he’s delivering something important quietly. Meloni, on the left, h...

Meloni and Trump: A very public Italy-US fallout that is proving very hard to fix

Italy's PM was not long ago being called the "Trump whisperer", but their relationship has gone from public attacks to personal insults.

Brief Thunder storm this morning in S London. Temp of 27.5 in house. I was going to journey out of London for a big walk today but couldn't face the 2 hour train journey. Taking it easy today.

Happy birthday @Llttledrummergirls

TemperanceWest · 27/06/2026 11:34

It is much cooler here today, but I feel absolutely wiped out.

Happy birthday @Llttledrummergirls 🎂

Happy birthday @Llttledrummergirls!
cooler here, low to mid 20s but the humidity is still high - up to the high 80%s at its worst according to the BBC. It’s exhausting. My upstairs finally dropped below 30 - it was 27 when I got up this morning.

PickAChew · 27/06/2026 11:59

I wish he'd stay over there

What has he got against the WHO?

Piggywaspushed · 27/06/2026 12:09

They hate WHO because Trump does. Covid and Palestine mainly.

He just seems to hate any organisation that suggests it might be good to value human life.
