A chat thread for those who don't like this Labour* *government. 💙

The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

Times radio - audio and speakers being set up outside no 10

Going to be pretty soon

Just came back to say Chris Mason saying the same. The conversations over the weekend must have been bad if he’s going this early in the day!

Yes doing the sound check 😀

"Little" Darren Jones and Lammy standing so close to each other I had to check they're not holding hands. No sign of Robber Reeves - yet.

I can only see the door. Is there anywhere showing the crowd?

DancingFerret · Yesterday 09:36

He's choking up. I almost feel sorry for him.

It is like Monty Python watching this resignation Speech . The music is pathetic and really shows that those in the Labour Party who thinks choir music playing like Christmas will suddenly make people believe that Starmer has been a successful prime minister, highlight in detail the lack of cognitive thinking in Westminster !

SapphireCasino · Yesterday 09:39

I switched my hotel TV on after looking on here

And he just finished and was talking about his wonderful children

How long was this speech? Or should I say how short?

I always thought it would be over it would be over in a flash. But not like a two minute speech or whatever it is

nauticant · Yesterday 09:39

The music is nothing to do with No.10, it's from some idiot nearby with a boombox.

SapphireCasino · Yesterday 09:40

What was the music please?

I'm getting on another train shortly so relying on you guys for info!

They've just said the music is being played by protestors outside the street (no idea exactly what protest).

ChardonnaysBeastlyCat · Yesterday 09:40

I’m working and I can’t watch.

nauticant · Yesterday 09:40

It's Beethoven's Ninth. Ode to Joy. The "theme tune" of the EU.

It was a lot about how great he and Labour were / are. But clearly not.

I'm not watching but that made me laugh!

EasternStandard · Yesterday 09:43

The music is annoying. It was for that stupid it’ll get better blaring song last time.

redange · Yesterday 09:45

Thank you nauticant for pointing that the music was not from no 10 ! I was thinking if it was that would be the crowning glory of the most pathetic and idiotic group of advisors ministers and civil-servants to serve the country in history !
