As a part-time Mainer, I've been pleased that everyone I know there turned out for Platner. I've certainly had my moments of being furious with the Democratic Party for making a hash of things by throwing their support behind a weak candidate in Mills, but I do feel there's something distasteful about a national debate around a state primary candidate. I do wonder how a data analyst would stack up negative coverage of Platner vs negative coverage of Ken Paxton.

Anyway, I'm glad that Mainers, in their usual independent way, have chosen to chart their own path.

Yep. The Kennedy Ctr BoD has filed court papers that they have 'complied' with the court order to take Scrotus' name down. I honestly think they have no intention of removing the tarp in a 'toys out the pram' hissy fit. Prompted no doubt by Scrotus himself.

Remains to be seen if some entity will file a lawsuit requesting an order for its removal. I don't think the current name removal order extended to 'and take any covering down'.
