I'm sure they said on the 1 o'clock news on Radio 4 that it had been removed.

I think I am going to believe that it has been removed when I see the pictures, and not before. Lots of places say "it's been removed" and proceed to illustrate this with pictures of workmen starting to set up the scaff but the objectionable garbage still fixed to the building.

Well, yes, but where did it get started? When it's a case of ten people of whom nine have been primed with a particular answer, I can fully understand the tenth person thinking they must have got it wrong, but I can't find a single picture of the Kennedy Center frontage without Trump's name defacing it.
