Have you ever hated something that seems very popular with everyone else ?

Just for fun so no sarcasm or nastiness please .
My friend and I went to see a West End musical this week . I was really looking forward to it . Great reviews . Celebrity cameos . Camp and fun . Seemed right up our street .
We both hated it . We were turning to each other with puzzled looks and raised eyebrows (we've known each other forever and have very similar tastes so no words needed) .
The audience seemed off their tits to be honest . Screeching at every unsubtle innuendo . Shouting responses to the actors . It was like a really bad hen do .
We left at the interval .
My point is that everyone else seemed to be having a great time . The staff who opened the doors to allow us to leave at the interval were incredulous . I quote : "Are you not enjoying it ?!"
Well no , we weren't . We thought it was shit .
This is a show that is up for lots of awards and has had so many positive reviews .

The snowy mountain itself is lovely . All the apres ski stuff is nice. Walking in rhe snow once you’ve put on all the gear is nice.Skiing is horrendous. Never again 😂 God I think I might be a bore.

Definitely Wicked. I haven't seen the others two. The costumes were fabulous but the show was sooo disappointing. We also left at the interval. Such a let down after all the hype! 😒

Yes! I’m with you on that! And (lately) Queen… and I’ve always disliked ABBA… I’m at home with the radio on a lot and find myself yelling
“ play something else” all the time.

Foods to burn in hell…

peppers… overwhelming stinky things turning up in everything. Ditto bloody salted caramel, Dubai chocolate and Biscoff!
Any form of fish with eyes and skin still present… fresh fish counters make me retch, I have to close my eyes when I pass them. God, I went faint when I saw an Eel on a counter once.
Can’t cope with alcohol anymore … used to love a drink and a dance, but if I’m ever forced to go out after teatime, I’m clock watching to get home to my pjs and the dog! Alcohol makes my head spin and I feel sick so I’m a cheap date now😄

Skinny jeans. Even moreso on men!

Football. Never really understood the hype, all the "who do you support?" bollocks. Well, none really because I neither financially or emotionally invested in anybody, but if you say none the atmosphere goes so stale. Feels very us and them.

The tv show Friends. Where the audience laughs at absolutely fuck all. Someone drops a fork. Audience laughs.

Walking. People in the UK seem deeply obsessed with going on walks on Boxing Day (fuck knows why) or any day really, when many of us are hung over and want to stay in bed or around the house, not even the kids want to leave their back yard or toys, kids hate it more than the adults. I never willingly walk, don't see the point in it, if I have to go further than the end of the street I take my car.
